Hi, interesting request! But it also means that the camera needs to stay in working mode for longer period everytime it is triggered, accelerating its power assumption. Some users may misuse this part and complain about the batteries life, which is a headache.
This seems to be a software issue.Would you please contact our support by submitting request ticket on the right-down corner of reolink.com and our support will look into the issue ASAP. Thank you ~
Hi,I will forward this request to our R&D team. They will discuss those requests from users in routine meetings. Your request could probably be adopted and implemented in future products/software updates.
Dear sir,This is a minor bug with the App which will be solved by App update soon. Please stay tuned!Sorry for the inconvenience.
The camera can not be added to Windows Client yet. But we are working on this part.
There will be 5MP RLC-423 (PoE) and 5MP RLC-423WS (WiFi enabled, not PoE) as new models to come by end of this year.
Hi, the cam is not that smart yet. The logic as of now is motion activates when there is motion in the images or the camera pans/tilts/zooms.Thanks.
Thank you! Your request is collected.
Hi, our engineers are paying close attention and we will do something about it as soon as possible. Please give us some time~
Hi Jens,If your delay is that long, please contact our support to take a look. There must be some things can be done to better the situation.Thank you.

Hi communities,The micro-USB port in the battery compartment can be used to power the camera (5V 2A) although it was not designed for this exact purpose. It's for debugging in the manufacturing process. Reolink Argus is an outdoor camera and powering in that way may incur elements and water getting in and in turn cause irreversible damage to the camera. This kind of damage is not taken as within warranty from Reolink.
The camera will wake up from sleep mode when its PIR sensor detects a person and start to record. So there is always a lag. This is how battery-powered cameras works, that they don't work constantly like other cameras (e.g. RLC-410) do. For Reolink RLC-410 for example, it has no power worries and works constantly. So it has pre-record of 6-7 seconds. But it certainly is what battery-powered cameras won't permit. So for battery-powered cameras, there is always a lag. For Reolink Argus, the lag is 0.7 sec. It is not a lot. But when the person moves fast, some of the movements won't be captured. To address the problem, you may adjust the position of the camera. So the camera will detect the target earlier and wake up earlier and start to record earlier.
Ohh, that's nice news to hear. Pls give it some time and observe its behaviour.
Yeah, you can use the function of cut to cut out a clip and export it.
