@joseph_1979 Thanks for attempting to duplicate this effect. It most pronounced with Clear resulution, especially on the 12MB camera. After your report, I experimented some more.
Thus, is appears to be related to "timing", i.e. when the mouse wheel moves in relation to the video feed. The Argus 3 Pro takes about 22 'clicks' to zoom from normal to maximum zoom. One or two of those clicks will produce a very quick "black blip". The 12MB camera is very much the same. Going from normal picture to maximum zoom is about 22-23 mouse clicks. Done very s-l-o-w-l-y, the picture is very stable. Zoom quickly, and it will happen a 2-3 times. Puzzling that it will happen "at the extreme", when the picture is completely zoomed in (or out). Scrolling the mouse wheel should not do anything, except it does.I will also try Windows 11.
Thanks for posting about 8.10.4 The update went smoothly and kept all cameras. However, the "black blink" remains when zooming a Live View.In Live View, the mouse scroll wheel can be used to digitally zoom the picture. Once the magnification has changed, the mouse can be used to select different parts of the picture. With 8.10.2, 3, and 4, these activities cause the picture to "blink" with totally black screens. Very distracting. Even if the Live View is at the maximum zoom (in or out. either extreme), using the mouse wheel continues to make the screen "blink".Windows 10, 64-bit.
So true. That Reolink multi-cable is truly unique. It is "part of" the camera in the sense of "hanging out the back side of the camera.". Battery powered cameras usually have a "Reset" capability built into the main case.
Most of my Reolink RLC cameras have a physical "Reset" button on the camera itself.
This morning 8.10.2 announced, "New Software Available" (8.10.3). Did the update, program restarted and again said, "New Software Available"The spot light feature appears when mousing over a Live Feed. (Have no cameras with Zoom feature.)
My first thought it to wind it into a loop pressed against the back of the panel and secure it with duct tape that matches the color of the back of the solar panel.
Is this on Windows 10 or Windows 11?Have you ever observed memory usage over time with no cameras showing Live View?(I am doing that on Windows 10 right now, and will report in several hours.)
Just discovered that whereas Reolink Windows Client has been installing in C:\Program Files (x86), this new 8.8.10 beta installed in C:\Program Files. (not x86).A bit "odd". Also, Reolink continue to be inconsistent in how the installation file is named. (sometimes Capital letters, sometimes lower case, sometimes "." in the number, sometimes not.)
This is probably "not done", but in order to mount an RLC-510WA at the angle I wanted, I had to remove one of the WiFi antennas.(Just physically unscrewed it.) Camera connects to my WiFi network at 5G anyway. You might want to verify that after screwing on an antenna extension cable, it is still possible to aim the camera as you want.

Do not have an E1 Pro, but this sound not right. I would contact support at reolink.com (we cannot type URLs into this stupid editor).Explain the problem and ask for a replacement.Could there be some light source that is confusing the camera? (some light that goes on and off during the night?)
Correct. The specs say "Maximum 64GB SD Card"reolink(dot)com/us/product/c1-pro/#specifications
Yes, of course. Separate activities.
@nenavodi_648284329952350 I cannot find a "Delete Button" on the Reolink Android app.
This is only "my two cents", but the neighbors are not going to be happy with sirens going off every time a cat wanders by your house at night. No problem with puny spotlights coming on, but sirens? OMGI would save the sirens for actual forced entry. i.e. entry sensors, glass break sensors, motion detectors, etc. I also went with a monitored security system because all the sirens in the world will not help if I am not home. (Does everybody rush outside when a car alarm starts beeping in your neighborhood? Don't think so.)Just my opinion.
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Very nice. "Test Failed. Unknown Error."
@bakkenkl_524424574742716 I believe all of Reolink's RLC cameras support FTP, which copies motion recording to an FTP server which can be ANYWHERE.i.e. you can build your own "cloud". Not as slick and fancy, but certainly more secure than having an NVR on the premises.
@pernoi_434276731408615 When I search the internet for "doorbell mounting height", most manufacturers recommend 48 inches (Ring, etc.) One site claimed the "standard" height is from 40 to 48 inches.
My Reolink RLC cameras record both to SD Card and via FTP to a local server. To be honest, I have not experimented with disconnecting the internet WAN connection to see if the local FTP continues.I tend to believe that the Reolink Cloud Storage of motion captures would be interrupted by Internet outages. (Have not subscribed to the Cloud, sorry.)
I agree. The FTP file appears to be "shorter in length (time)" than the Download File. The utility Media Info confirms that the files are consistently different. (see mediaArea(dot)net)I see no valid reason for this to be the case.
