@big_ted but this is a collection of video and audio codecs used by Windows and its software. If I am Reolink developer I will include the codecs used as is done by most media player like VLC. Anyhow I don't have this pack and I have no issue. Once I found out that their player was calling DirectX ddls which where not in my system and had to install DirectX redist.....and it worked.I have no time to debug....busy
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 Correct, this is life. More unable than able. One has to be patient and ignore. Move on....
@woodrax_841177568313506 submit your request to support on support @ reolink . Com
@jing_734911040270566 I suggest you to take it up with support. For sure there was a change in player and they are using 3 instances. I am running v8.16.10 without any issues on both Win 10 and 11.
@user_782828081017023_782828081017023 I don't have the home hub but I read that once you connect the camera to the hub, then all control to the camera shall be through the hub only. I saw customers complaining about this and have requested individual control as what you are asking for. Hoping that this shall not be the case when the Hub Pro is released.@Daisy Kindly confirm or otherwise that in the Hub Pro, customers can have direct access to the camera similar to the case when cameras are connected to NVR through a switch.
@sid_534554213130383 You're welcome.
@ton_364307299610758 Depends how many you intend to install. Have a look at the specs of RLN8, 16 and 32 from their website and see which suits you most.
@kundun_787898586112144 The credentials of the camera are totally different from the Reolink account. These are two distinct entities. IF you forgot the credentials then reset the camera.
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 We are on the same wavelength. Fiona moved to another department and now Daisy has taken over the community. To understand the customer you need to be with the customer. TrackMix is one of the best camera I have in my ecosystem. Newly release cameras have lower vertical field of view. See the DUO 3, Argus 4 Pro, RLC811, etc. I don't know whether this is attributed to the cmos sensor or the processing power.
@big_ted Indeed you do. But this is quite obvious that the website should be updated continuously with the most recent information and enhanced. Even this community should be updated. Sometimes you cannot add pictures or URL and sometimes the text is rejected and you have to exit and log again. I bet no tech person is after this community. Some of the queries are beyond our capability, not from the technicalities, but from the way it has been implemented by Reolink. They need to understand that the customers are paying their salaries and subsequently they should take care of and listen to his/her complaints or suggestions.
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 Well to give real service you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity. This is what I say to my engineers. If you fail you must admit and learn from mistake and be open to suggestions. Sometimes they come from the least expected. I have no knowledge of what models will be out but I know the technicalities esp protocols in IT and Telecoms plus software development. I teach it too.As for the TM fw, I reverted back to previous one.
@user_843824351781036_843824351781036 Check this out https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/11611646412313-How-to-Install-Reolink-Video-Doorbell-Cameras/
@user_780672372097157_780672372097157 Have no such issue. Can you contact support on support @ reolink . Com. They shall ask you for the crash dump to investigate.
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 I am a customer like you and provide support based on my technical background and experience. If I am a senior manager within Reolink, I would definitely change a lot of procedures and adopt different strategies. Haven't been in Berlin but have been in Munich and Frankfurt. Whenever I developed applications for my customers I performed lots of tests and I used to include a debug mode which will dump data whenever an issue is encountered and then I prompt the user to email me the log file. Then I do my analysis and if there is a bug I sorted it out and deploy a new upgrade. How can you resolve problems without logs?
@reolink-daisy Kindly go through our comments in thread https://community.reolink.com/topic/14545/trackmix-wifi
@sid_534554213130383 untag 'any motion' from recording and push/email notification. Just use AI detection. If still getting false alerts increase the alarm delay and conside to use the object size.
@user_796437497356417_796437497356417 You need to contact support to investigate on support @ reolink . com as I don't use their iCloud.
@ks Which Windows version?
@ks As usual the incompatibility between the player and the video driver.
@ks I never had any issue on TrackMix with previous versions.
