@kimchigun I did notice this from the day I have installed the WIFI Trackmix (but it is being connected through its eth port). It seems to me that it is not fast enough to focus on the object and subsequently it focuses on the whole view. I mostly view through the wide lens.As you correctly stated, it would have been nice if the customer has the ability to control the Telephoto lens. That would be wonderful but would remain in our dreams. You are one of the few who really contributes to this community. Keep it up.
@twill_324139168772284 No need to worry provided you have a strong password.I have requested Reolink to include username, timestamp, source IP and logging duration as a list which cannot be erased through reboots and restore. I have asked for any changes the user does. In my application which I have developed in the past I used to add this as a table and grant access to the admin. Cameras should have their security measure too.
@user_966112798003396_966112798003396 Try to use your Home WIFI and check you have the latest firmware. Check their download center.The HH pings the camera at regular intervals and if it doesn't receive a reply it will mark the camera as unreachable and sends an alert. So the issue is WIFI related or the camera is in deep sleep (battery).
@tue_959406374658276 I have already brought this to the attention of support. I suggest you to raise it too.Recording to the SD and the HHP are independent. In fact you set recording on to the SD before connecting the camera to the HHP.
@kimchigun Same for the HHP.
@chris_385343865196783 you're welcome.
@turoda_754794597875881 From the camera list, drag the camera and drop it in the box you wish to put it.
@big_ted At the same time it is rather difficult to comply with every request :).
@issom Reach out support on support @ reolink.com
@joseph_1979 I have asked for homogenous features across all products wherever possible.
@kimchigun In total agreement. This is 1950's era. I cannot understand the reason behind this unprofessional implementation.
@reolink-alyson Excellent products. However. I would have enhanced the Altas by having the same resolution as the Altas PT Ultra and add IR lights (30m). Perhaps I would also consider to have a higher vertical FOV say 65 degrees.
Now that the Home Hub Pro (HHP) has been released for quite some time, we expect a proper integration with the battery doorbell. Currently the fw available to the public will not allow the integration of the chime. So most of us will leave the battery doorbell as standalone. However, Reolink have a beta fw (request through support) which shall add the chime as a device and then there is the functionality to link this chime to the doorbell. Once this is linked then it is possible to have the chime sounding when the ring button is pressed. But those customers who have enabled the rich notification will no longer have it once the camera is integrated to the HHP. Even other cameras which have smart event detection will not have this feature any more once the camera is connected to the HHP.Reolink, please provide the rich notification and smart event detection on the HHP.
@chris_385343865196783 Once both NVRs are added, you will see all the cameras listed in the client's device list. Select the view screen (say 9 boxes) which shall accommodate all your cameras and then you can drag and drop the cameras you want to view onto the live view screen.
@nicolae-popa_399309727432938 You need to add it manually using a mouse and a monitor. Follow this link https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007011053-How-to-Add-Reolink-Cameras-to-Reolink-PoE-NVR/
@user_904519689056419_904519689056419 Only the horizontal angle can be set. Recall that it can pan to 355 degrees and tilt to 50 degrees.So if can no longer tilt then there is something wrong in the gear mechanism. Since the warranty expired then use it as a fixed camera. Disable tracking and set it to the desired angle.
@user_964250466283679_964250466283679 Please open ticket with support. I do have these models and still operational.
@user_892968208818306_892968208818306 Credentials seem fine as otherwise you shall get wrong password. I guess you tried simple password with no special characters. And that you have tried o connect to it from v8 installed on the same machine. Camera should be on the same subnet as the client. Just to ensure that there is communication between this PC and the camera. From the same PC, run CMD and then paste the followingcurl -s -k -X POST -H "Content-Type : application/json" -d "[{\"cmd\":\"GetDevInfo\",\"action\":1}]" "https://#IP#/cgi-bin/api.cgi?user=#username#&password=#password#"Replace IP with camera IP, username with the one you have entered (default admin) and your password. Maybe to assist support is to capture login traces using Wireshark. Just filter on the IP of the camera.
@user_963360503419127_963360503419127 Yes I have it. Follow the procedure outlined in https://reolink.club/Richnotifications-RDT7Andhttps://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/reolink/#sending-rich-notifications
@reocam_448003255267488 You can try to download it from apkmirror.
