@reolink-fiona this is something which Reolink should consider to implement as it will shortly be a mandatory requirement in ip camera automation.
@reolink-fiona We need more selections...60s, 90s and 120s or I would make it selectable between 15 and 180s. After all it's a software timer.
@user_597307671535691_597307671535691 PTZ controls are placed at the edges of the screen for RLC511WA and E1 OD respectively and don't disturb the view. In playback, calendar is readily available and you can fast forward up to 16x. But yes reverse, forward and stop buttons don't exist at all and are undoubtelt more convenient than moving a bar. We provide a lot of suggestions but they prioritise bugs over enhancement. I would certainly have different teams.
@user_596316400607322_596316400607322 I think it is a wifi reachable issue. Can you move the camera closer to router and try again? Try both WiFi and 4G.
@julian_481116254322917 same applies for other cameras such as E1 outdoor, Argus, etc. I have been emailing them on this but they think that this might cause more issues if customers apply the wrong firmware. I would add a disclaimer and voila.
@julian_481116254322917 it's the firmware which is different. Just email support with the hardware version and they will provide you with the latest firmware. It's very easy to apply.
@martinbarrett_533327547867360 And if your router doesn't provide POE then you need a POE switch. See if having a power socket near the camera is cheaper.
@kristof it has to be wiped as otherwise it is recoverable. And this should be extended to ftp too. Once file has been successfully transferred there should be an optional function to delete the file after a specific time set by user. After all the embedded os is Linux and so easily achievable. It's a matter of priority.
@edwin_514841036439802 It has nothing to do with the camera. It hasn't been implemented in the Windows client.
@crimp-on_62210811129 It is recommended to have distinct SSID for 2.4 and 5G though not a necessity.
@reolink-fiona That's the timestamp when the recording started. Now check it out on the Android application and you will see the duration. Support informed.
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 On another note in the playback view, the duration of the recorded video and the progress view bar are missing. These are readily available on the Android version.
@reolink-fiona Indeed the user can scroll up but dev team can easily implement a routine to scroll up the menu.
@crimp-on_62210811129 The 5G WIFI is correctly shown on Argus 3 Pro. Perhaps you need to email support to verify if you have the latest firmware. Just include your hardware version and they will reply. Their support has greatly improved.I did request ftp too on Argus 3 Pro and they informed me that they are working on it. What I asked is an improvement in the wake up protocol and reduction in delay to forward the push notification. This has to be improved to be in within 4 to 6s. Otherwise its a really beast.
@reolink-fiona
@kristof But if the BB router changes IP and the camera doesn't send any requests to the Reolink P2P servers then you will not be able to access the camera from the client as the client will get the old IP.
@reolink-fiona I would rather name the Admin default as Super Admin. And for the privileges it is suggested that the Super Admin can assign any of the menus/submenus to each created user. Shouldn't be difficult to implement and its flexible as you will definitely have lots of requests asking you to allow this and that. I did implement this on a number of applications I wrote. Moreover logging is absolutely a necessity.
@reolink-fiona When you are in camera configuration and click the surveillance menu so it expands. The SYSTEM appears at the end. Now if you click the SYSTEM menu, the menu will not scroll up but rather the adjacent bar. The MENU should scroll up to see the SYSTEM submenus.
@reolink-fiona I also notice that if there is a screen to show info, the button at the bottom shows 'confirm'. It would be cleaner to have OK as there is no action to perform.
