@jrocksk8_744015515463858 What I suggest you is to submit your request on https://support.reolink.com/requests/ I don't think that Reolink developers will be reading our requests.Rather than 24/7 it could be for a few hours.
@jrocksk8_744015515463858 The main issue is the battery.
@mvbl Submit your details of the issues on https://support.reolink.com/requests/
@kodu-valvur_731575810646223 They stopped manufacturing Smart WIFI plugs. Only the floodlight is the IoT available from Reolink.
@acanicio_729093081293029 So far I see that the disappearance of the control icons occurs on Win 7 and Win 10. I have the same issues on v8.14.0 running on Win 10 and I am in contact with the senior support. So far no feedback. I have rolled back to v8.12.1.
@ldiciolla_711600280387832 SSH to access the system....forget it. But SFTP I agree. FTPS is much lighter to implement :). Let's hope that one day they replace FTPS with SFTP.
@dyshuk_340893285163242 You did a restore? Normally through a restore a new token will be obtained from FCM/APNS and forwarded to the Reolink message application server so that the message will be pushed to your smartphone. Once I had an issue on all the cameras and then I did some tracings and noticed that the camera was sending the alert message to the Reolink pushx server but the Android smartphone was not receiving the push notification from Google FCM. It turned out that Reolink was doiing maintenance on their pushx servers. So as a last attempt I suggest you to restart smartphone and do a restore on the camera.
@calcanius_661775128809567 I have the E1 OD and have the spotlight icon on the top on v4.41. So first get the UID from the Info menu and have the credentials (user/password). Then go to the settings of the camera and scroll down and click on delete. Then add the camera using the UID and the credentials. Check whether you get the spotlight icon.
@patty_674326863429789 You can draw the area to be blocked and save it. But yes it can later be modified. You may opt to use the non-detection zone under alarm settings to refrain from the camera being triggered when the object is within the restricted area. Lei ti deve pagare per fare la guardia :).
@daniels1973_751452936073460 Under Alarm Setting set motion sensitivity to High and smart detection to 50. Under Record untag any motion, just leave person and visitor. Under push notification untag any motion and person (assuming you don't want to be notified for each person passing infront of the house).
@fredsky59_711549615067319 Go to Google and search for 'reolink apk archive' and you shall find sites storing older versions of Android client.
@christian-meneghini_543174703677572 Are you running it on Win 11?
@koach_401182455079094 So prior to the 64 bit v8.14.0 you were using the 32 bit v8.2.6. Which Windows you have on your PC? Do you get the camera on the left hand side window under 'Device'? If yes try to dag it to the live view.
@user_697868551373008_697868551373008 You're welcome. So the best setup would be to have POE AI cameras connected to a POE switch and from the POE switch connect it to your ISP router. Then opt for an NVR and connect the NVR to the router too. Don't forget to read the specs and if you don't understand ask. Never be shy in this world.
@user_697868551373008_697868551373008 This is based on PIR which detects the Infrared emitted by the object and it is triggered when the object crosses adjacent slots. If you approach the PIR then it takes time to trigger the PIR until you come within 5 metres when the adjacent slots are nearer. So the best location is that the PIR direction is perpendicular to the direction of motion of the object. Note that PIR have a short range of max 10m with the sensitivity set to the highest value. And when the camera is IDLE only the PIR circuit is drawing current. When it is triggered it will start the application, start the recording, identifying the object tyoe and triggers the push notification/email. So it takes time. Sometimes as you stated the object is not shown in the video as it has already passed the FOV.Best option is to have dc powered cameras which are constantly recording and their detection is based on pixel changes. Here you will get recording before the cam was triggered.
@stingray_736374312435858 Just purchase a gun and voila' Spray vinegar.
@nwj629_327117960335613 So far no update from senior support. Will update you once I get a solution.
@glenn-tracy_460916285792453 It cannot be done. Chime will only sound when the button is pressed. However, you can use the siren which shall sound once a person is detected but it will be annoying.
@cu79 I suggest you to take it up with support. Submit your request on https://support.reolink.com/requests/
@tom_62394846073005 I didn't say anything wrong.
