@rainman Can you select 'CLOSE' under 'Generate subfolder by' and try again? Just a test.
@muppet_652097732632624 See if this helps you. https://reolink.com/blog/stream-ip-camera-to-youtube/ RTSP does need an encoder (use open source OBS) to stream to YouTube unlike RTMP which allows you to live stream directly to YouTube without using any encoders.
@user_623715019411529_623715019411529 Which camera model are you referring to? To have individual emails from the camera then you need to connect the cam to a POE switch. To avoid the authentication requested by GMAIL server, you need to log to your google Gmail account and generate a password. Then use this password as the email credentials on your camera. Follow the instructions cited in this link https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039461654-How-to-Generate-an-APP-Password-in-Gmail-Account
@user_623715019411529_623715019411529 I had the issue for the RLC511WA whereby after I switch off (say for 20 min) the 5GHz from the router side, the cam won't be communicating anymore. And as you said to recover one has to do a power cycle. I took it up with support and subsequently they modified the firmware and since then I never encountered the issue again. I do have the E1 OD and I did test it out but was able to communicate with it at all times. I checked this by capturing traces through Wireshark. Please email Reolink support.
@dg Reolink notified.
@mrfchirpy_328132979335308 Most probably the WIFI signal is weak at the camera location. Try to relocate it or use a WIFI extender. But first get the cam near the router and check that you have access to the cam at all the time.
RLC-510WA It could be a faulty unit. Check these URLs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7VCVO_R3b5c and https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/11575651066265-Getting-Started-with-RLC-510WA
@dg Good point especially if the NVR is in remote site. Mem and disk usage will definitely be required too.
@andy Excellent. Have a nice day.
@user_652120033566820_652120033566820 On the ftp server grant write permission to the ftp user you created for the camera.
@rob_lattimer_416908199641286 Yes you can. Kindly email Reolink and if there is a newer firmware they will push it to your profile and then according to your settings on the mobile app, it will be either automatically or manually upgraded. Hopefully one day we will get a notification when there is a new firmware similar to what other competitors do.
@costa_ro Nice to hear that. Enjoy.
@user_622087815938095_622087815938095 12W shall suffice. According to specs, it requires 24Vdc or 12 to 24 V AC.
@reolink-fiona Any plans for more IoT devices please?
@user_643544654475341_643544654475341 To have full flexibility and make use of all the features of both the cams and the NVR, it is recommended to connect the cams through a POE switch. If you connect the cams directly to the NVR then some features are global on the NVR and would apply to all cams.
@paulsdean68_278041821524117 Try to disable hardware acceleration from main menu. Ensure that there is no service on the tablet taking up most of the cpu load and that wifi is good.
@markube_230430755709173 Once I did request this but so far has not been implemented. Should be in the list but not prioritised. Sensor has to be added to cam. Hopefully one day we will get it.
@seaisland215_530551422046397 Correct and one should check the wattage of cam and the interface type at the poe side before ordering.
@user_635300470997033_635300470997033 Can you download the videos in clear mode and forward them to support so they will investigate and tune the AI detection? Place the files in Google drive and include the links in the email. I do not see any other parameters to change.
