@daservices-usa_295488157241547 This is not yet the final version and may contain bugs. I am on Windiws client 8.10beta and had some non responding issues. Dmg file is for Mac. I haven't seen any Mac beta version.
@corderfarm_644105562165273 No. You need to check for newer firmware in the Reolink download center. If the camera is not in the drop down list, then send an email to Reolink support citing your hardware version. Then upload the apk file using the Windows client....maintenance menu. Should be fairly simple.
@andré-figueiredo_360727197077756 Have you downloaded the recent firmware from the Reolink download center? Then use the Windows client to upgrade.
@user_654280537292816_654280537292816 That's what I have read. But it merely depends on the number of recordings (including length of recording, activation of spot light, etc) per day and number you watch live feeds from the Reolink app. I have installed the solar panel and I really forgot it. It's around 30 bucks.
@nolte44379_282809504575654 This function hasn't been implemented in the first generation of video doorbell. I hope that in the second generation they implement calling functionality and the possibility to support existing chimes. Let's wait.
@snorre_653954821296133 WIFI 6 routers are backward compatible with WIFI 4 devices. If it supports IEEE 802.11n then its fine. IEEE 802.11ax is for WIFI 6. Check the specs of the router and you should see whether it is backward compatible.
@user_651490629161069_651490629161069 This article lists the cams having patrol functionality. https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/900004777903-How-to-Set-Patrol-Speed-and-Duration-via-ReoLink-NVR-New-UI-
@rainman Can you install cerberus ftp server (freeware) on PC running Windows and try again?
@neverbob_211767671742603 I was not aware of what model you have. Yes, ftp is not implemented on battery operated cams.
@neverbob_211767671742603 Use the ftp service.
@user_653284007813199_653284007813199 If you insert the SD in PC would you be able to copy the files to the PC? What is the size of the files? Have you tried to replace the SD with another brand? I use Samsung evo plus 256GB and never had any issue. Check also that you have the latest firmware on the camera and the latest client.
@user_63_633151097208875 I won't think this will ever be entertained. If stored in another external device other than internal SD or cloud then you need to play the files using a 3rd party application.
@r-leitch_553072966336738 I think that this cam cannot be bound to the cloud. See https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/8742879549081-Fail-to-Associate-Reolink-Cameras-with-Your-Cloud-Plans-Reolink-Cloud-Troubleshooting
@user_623715019411529_623715019411529 so you are running Windows client application. If yes try to disable hardware acceleration first from the application main menu...upper right hand corner.
@andré-figueiredo_360727197077756 Both firmware are very old. Go to Reolink download centre and download the firmware for the 820A which was released on April 2022. Then run the Reolink Windows client....go to cam setting then system followed by maintenance....and upload the firmware. Should be fairly easy.
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 Yes, this is the most stable official Win client available to the general public. I am using the 8.10beta which is still in beta version. Hopefully we shall shortly see the final version.
@rainman You are right............but there are priorities which Reolink R&D decide which and when a feature/function shall be implemented.
@user_623715019411529_623715019411529 Excellent. Please send reminders to support.
@rainman Not yet implemented on the Android application. Normally this is set in the in-appl notification setting which is not available for Reolink appl.
@user_623715019411529_623715019411529 I am sorry I can't help on the NVR side as I don't have it in my setup. I have both models and have no issues on emails or push message notifications. Please sent reminders to Reolink support if you are already in contact with them. They should reply.
