@crimp-on_62210811129 There is waterproof POE injector. Check on Amazon.
@seb_526812765704330 It's similar to the E1 OD which tracks the object horizontally. So far didn't hear about plans to extend tracking vertically. Fiona shall give further details on this.
@user_635300470997033_635300470997033 Is rain or fog detected as a person? If yes add a delay of 1 or 2 sec in the alarm delay. There is also the object size which you can use to avoid false detection.
@kristof He is correct. He didn't mention the POE injector but simply explained that the power provided from POE NVR or POE switch ( 48V dc which is primarily used in Telco equipment) is not compatible with the 12V dc power required by the E1 OD. However, as stated, there exists a POE injector/splitter which steps down the voltage to 12Vdc and provides a distinct rj45 plug for data signals. I think that despite that this is a WIFI cam and the LAN is used during initial setup, the Lan port can be used to transmit data. I cannot verify this as my E1 OD is installed 9m above the ground and need a high ladder to take it down.
@user_643648472444965_643648472444965 Nice to hear that. Continue to enjoy Reolink products.
@chuck_529633235447953 Recall that not all cams have AI. I assume the complainer is one of them.
@robert-womack_614401045745765 Not all the models have this setting. Check if you have exposure under Display. If you do then set it to manual and you can adjust the shutter speed. If the camera is close enough to a wall/eave or other reflective surface, it can cause the IR to bounce off nearby surfaces then reflect back into the camera lens and subsequently to the sensor. Carefully test what is the optimal position to install IR illuminator. In the best-case scenario, they should be in parallel to the cam.
@big_ted They are available....do a search. I would rather concentrate on functionality rather than providing something which is readily available off the shelf.
@big_ted This only makes sense if you have a poe cam nvr system. Just add a UPS which feeds the NVR and the fibre ONT or BB router. It will become expensive to have individual UPS which also adds maintenance. Anyhow if you do a search you can find lots of UPS say 12V 14.8W for say 30 bucks.
@twitch04advert_547475244449986 Then it should be based on a schedule. Will inform Reolink accordingly. They will evaluate the request and prioritise it. I simply explained how it works.
@user_643648472444965_643648472444965 I thought you have already done this. Always check for new firmware as you do for any other equipment. I think on the site there is an option to be notified when a new stable firmware is available for download.Once this happened to me on Argus 2 and that's what I did to recover push notification.
@saraferre616_617733731050218 Unfortunately no. The package comes with proprietary protocols. Perhaps Fiona can give us feedback about Reolink plan to add a lock to the video doorbell.
@seb_526812765704330 They are all rated at 25W but you won't use all of them at full load.
@jedi2020_32727772450952 Same here. AI for DUO 2 will be further optimised in the next firmware release.
@user_649620588302408_649620588302408 In 8.10beta version which I am using there is no border. This shall be available once fully tested.
@seb_526812765704330 According to its specs, it provides 25W per port and this is more than adequate to power up the entities you have stated above. It also supports both IEEE 802.3 af/at interfaces. From your list only floodlight has 'at' interface. Max power consumed by those cam < 12W while the floodlight consumes < 25W.
@user_648022576103453_648022576103453 Engineers always think that the customer is technical too. Apologise for not being simple in my explanation. You're still using FLV!
@alvaro2 The megapixel count is not the end of the story. The only thing more megapixels will give you is the ability to enlarge and crop pictures without individual pixels becoming visible. A better lens will always produce better images regardless of the megapixel count.
@alvaro2 Many customers are awaiting the roadmap of their products for 2023. Hopefully we will see it soon.
@user_643648472444965_643648472444965 Can you reset one of the cameras and check if you will continue to have push notifications from this cam?
