RE: Don't detect switching between day/night mode as movement and recording it
@magnust RLC510A is not battery operated. It's supplied through POE. In my previous comment I stated that the alarm delay has been introduced on a number of cams excluding battery operated cams.

RE: RLC 823A: Auto-Tracking
@user_631336532095021_631336532095021 Can you restore the camera and re-configure it again? Restore shall set the parameters to their default value.
You can do it from the Android/IoS/Windows/Mac client. -
RE: E1 Zoom Factory Reset button faulty - alternative methods for reset?
@upz If you have access through the application you can go to Advanced and click on restore. All the parameters are set to the default value with the exception of the WIFI.
Do you want to change the WIFI setting? -
RE: Email Error 480 482 483
@liamsligo_440194925559999 I have a number of different Reolink cameras configured to forward emails and never had any issue. I am using Gmail SMTP server. To use Gmail you need to generate the password from the Gmail account so as to avoid authentication which is not supported by Reolink.

RE: E1 POE adapter?
@steven-dennis_466125782364360 You need a poe splitter which works with IEEE 802.3af (I dont think yours POE is 802.3at) POE to provide 5V power with up to 10 Watts peak power.

RE: Reollink Doorbell App missing features
@diegosalerno_560796844831021 Good to hear your positivity on the video doorbell. Indeed the issue of low audio at the doorbell side has been identified some weeks ago and this has been resolved by adding the volume control to the speaker. This shall be available in the next Android release 4.35.0.7. As for the different rings, this merely depends on the application and not Android. Android limits the ring type per application. PMN can have embedded in it the type of ring tone. Recall that this is the first generation of video doorbell and we will definitely see new features in the next releases. Customers are asking for SIP calling and able to integrate it with the existing chime. Any additional ideas are more than welcome.

RE: continuous viewing of battery camera without timeout
@terryjensen_510712816316578 I do not think there is a solution now. Previous Windows clients had an option to disable it but in the recent upgrades this feature has been removed. I have notified support to re-introduce it and its up to the customer if the camera drains the battery.

RE: POE Video Doorbell
@user_642017179439167_642017179439167 I have the WIFI doorbell version and my communication is through the Android and Windows clients. So far no issue but wish to see more features implemented like SIP calling and integration with the existing chime. According to the description, the recording can be saved to the SD or NVR like any other Reolink camera.

RE: Suggestions for water protection
@crimp-on_62210811129 I didn't refer to any brand. But from an ironmongery store one can find them. I found them at that price and are IP64.

RE: SIM card doesn’t stay in
@md I cannot say with precision if there are issues with the SIM slot but I assume it is a normal one and wont think Reolink produced one of their own. This is the first complaint I ever came across on the SIM slot. Maybe defective one.

RE: are not connected.
@роберт-аветисян_276781623177455 Can you access them through your Windows/Mac client? If still not able to reach them then reboot the BB router.
-
RE: SIM card doesn’t stay in
@md He is referring to mobile SIM card and not SDXC card. Maybe the slot is not tight enough to keep the micro SIM secured. Hopefully one day they will introduce eSIM.

RE: Rich Notifications on other Phones?
@harrylane3_531242661216426 Indeed. Hope Reolink provides a solution to this. Will notify them.

RE: Don't detect switching between day/night mode as movement and recording it
@magnust This has been solved through the introduction of the alarm delay. Not all cameras have this feature. For sure this is not on battery powered cams.
