Hi,How about trying setting motion detection areas via the Client software? After all, it's not necessary to select all the images as the motion detection areas. That would render false alarms.
Hi, it is made that way, not a bug or something, for following reasons:1. Four cams or 9, 16 cams in clear mode at the same time means significantly much more data to process for the computer. More RAM or advanced graphic card is demanded. The software may crash if the computer is inferior in configurations.2. If you are accessing the camera or Reolink NVR remotely (from a outside network), the network is worse than when in LAN. All cameras in clear mode means so much data to transmit at the same time. Not wise because you may find yourself face all white images-all open failed. No a issue if in LAN, big issue if in WAN (outside network).
Sorry but you will have to unplug the power..
Hi,Thanks for sharing your story.Actually the audio is encoded with the video. When the video stops streaming (phone screen is off) the audio pauses as well. So it may not be achieveable technically, unless you want it to keep streaming when phone screen is off- which may aggravate phone battery to run low.Thanks.
Thanks for sharing in the community.
Most standard CR123A or RCR123A batteries work with Reolink Argus or Reolink Keen, but you have options in what models of batteries you use. Disposable ones, rechargeable ones, you just need to decide which sets would work best for you. Reolink tested a few models out on the market and the test tells such a story:So you see, different brands show disparities in battery performance. If your plan isn't among the list, at least make sure the ratings of yours meet the requirements as follows:Model: CR123A/RCR123AVoltage: 3V for disposable and 3.7~4.2V for rechargeable (brand new)Feel free to share your thoughts in this post.
Hi,To handle 4 pcs of 4MP WiFi cameras, you need a very powerful and decent wifi router. And no other devices should be connected to the router to possibly add the burden. Then you can use the cameras with RLN8-410 NVR. My suggestion is Reolink 2MP WiFi 4-cam kit https://reolink.com/product/rlk4-210wb4/ The resolution is 1080P but pictures quality is amazing! As to the matter of 25fps or 30fps, it is related with video standard. It is decided by you and should be compliant with the standards observed by your nation. Google PAL & NTSC you will see a lot of related info on this topic.
That was great~
Guys, we know that some of you may have questions about what kind of micro-SD cards are recommended to use with Reolink Argus camera.Well, if you follow the specs here for reference, it would be working fine:Notes: You should choose Micro SD card not standard SD card.If you guys find any model of micro-SD card wouldn't work but does meet the requirements above, please share its model in the topic to let others know. Let's skip the traps! Thanks all.
Re: I simply went to the Reolink client – /local settings/record settings and put in the path to the local maaped drive of the NAS box--Andy, that also works. But one thing to note, you need to set the folder size higher here:folder-size.png
Hi Mark,Can you have a simpe discription of the issue you are having?
Hi,If your camera firmware version show a date that is before that one showed on our site, then it means it is not the latest.
This is not in the near future plan, sir.
Dear Vick,The camera ought to be in night mode not color mode during the night. If you switch to black&white you'll see the image quality improve significantly. You are also welcome to contact our support to see whether there can be more settings to be configured to further improve the images.Thank you.
Hey,Please check https://reolink.com/faq/change-router-password-without-reconnecting-ip-camera/ For now, I'm afraid you have to reset the camera and start from scratch.
Andy, did you set up the cameras to FTP upload the recordings to your Synology NAS station?Did you check the folder in the NAS and did you set any size limitation of the folder? If you choose another folder/Save Path, will the FTP upload resume working?
I see.
