Well, Let me put it another way:If you can't login the camera now, how many possibilities there could be the cause(s)?
Hi guys,I'm to update you this request has been adopted and will come true soon.By the way, can you guys share you thoughts on when the status indicator is switched off, how to judge its working status any other way?I'll give an example-one day you can no more login the camera, you used to be able to tell the camera loses connection if you see a red indicator on the camera lens, but now, nothing. The cameras won't tell a clue and you just can't login it no more. What will you do? Come on guys, let me hear your voices
Hi, the following requests will be forwarded to assess and likely to be added as new features.1. Option to start/stop cruise through Reolink App.2. Option to switch off Motion Detection temporarily during the process you pan/tilt/zoom the camera. We'll start with these changes and see what the customers feedback would be.Thank you all.
Hi guys, we know there are a whole bunch of batteries models out there on the market, and we pick CR123A because they are mostly-common used in cameras. We tested a few models (here is the list: https://reolink.com/faq/choose-batteries-for-battery-powered-camera/) and there are performance differences. As to the different kinds of batteries you mentioned, we indeed haven't tested all of them, and there certainly could be a lot of possible problems with them. Seems we can't make a choice that makes everyone happy But we will take your ideas into consideration for future products.
Would you please contact our support by submitting request ticket on the right-down corner of reolink.com and our support will help you resolve the issue ASAP. Thank you ~
Hi audrdem,We are revisiting this (or similar) requests recently. Another thing, for now, to have exact same settings for Reolink App and client seems not realistic because Reolink App has more limited space to accommodate all the settings/options featured by Reolink Client. But you may have noticed that Reolink App has more features added to it than ever before. And we will continue to do so (but without making it too cumbersome and look untidy).Another I'd like to mention is that- if a user pan/tilt/zoom the camera, the monitored areas will significantly keep changing. Then it's too hard for the camera to recognize a actual motion during the period. Anyway, I just want to let you know we are revisiting this part and all your thoughts are taken into our consideration. We sincerely thank you for your ideas~~
Dear user, we are re-considering the request. Thank you sincerely for sharing your thoughts.
Hi guys,Your requests are collected and taken into consideration. Our team will take your thoughts into serious consideration. Thank you all you amazing guys~~!
Hi guys, please do not get frustrated, we are planning on holding a meeting to sort out and discuss the ideas from you guys. Please do not got me wrong and understand my dilemma that I have to defend for you guys facing the programmers and convince them to integrate the request, along with a lot of other work to do. Hope to get your kind understanding.
We will try to change "IP camera" to the device name:And a record X seconds before event and X seconds after event are called "pre-record" and "post-record" which is not available for battery-powered cameras, but available for other models from Reolink. You can do some research on the battery-powered cameras on the market and you'll see pre-record is not realistic for battery-powered but only for DC powered cameras as it demands for non-stop working. And for Reolink Argus, if it's triggered it records for 6 sec and send you an alert. If it's triggered again after the 6-sec, it will push again.Push.jpg
Hi Tim,We have been diligently working on implementing some selected user requests. Some nice ideas have been implemented as you can see in our changelog (What’s New) of firmware/software updates. Please kindly understand that bug fixes are our top priority and then user request or feature request. So it may take some time to see yours become true. Please stay tuned!
The status indicator is especially important when you meet any issue with the camera. It tells a lot of information. So we decided that it might not be a good idea to turn it off. Thank you.
We are sorry that we haven't test this kind of battery, sir.
I think your request is alike to Geofencing. But this is not in our plan for now. We will revisit the request later. Thanks.
Hey Tim, are you searching for this section? https://reolink.com/forum/general-discussion/suggestion-box/
Your request has been collected. Engineering is reviewing the feasibility of implementing this idea. We’ll schedule to implement the request if it’s accepted. Otherwise it goes to the suggestion pool and may be reactivated if others make similar requests again. Thank you sincerely for sharing your thoughts. We will take your request seriously and work hard to make our products better~
Hi, To correct camera time, please follow this guide: /faq/how-to-synchronize-system-time-reolink-app/ And if the time is still one hour off, please enable DST and see.As to the issue of German signs, I let our staff take a look. And they said it was correct. Make sure you have the latest version of App. See pic:As to three pictures sent with the email alerts, I see scare possibility. Three pictures means larger attachment size and harder to be sent. Some customers got issues with email attachment due to network problem. They failed to receive attachment even there is one picture attached. Three pictures will aggravate the problem.sign.png
Hi, consider the two options:1. Expand your NVR storage. Guide: https://reolink.com/faq/how-to-expand-the-capacity-of-reolink-nvr/ 2. Adjust down the framerate, bitrate of the cameras. The side effect will be the images less clear than before. But it extends the recording cycle.Thanks.
Hi, we will lauch new models in the future to support h.265 codec. Thanks.
