Color attribute is clearly very important for identifying objects which include clothing, hat, bike, car, and animals. Reolink should also seriously consider supporting more than 1 detection zone. For example, one detection zone for day and another detection zone for night. Push notification can then link to one or both zones. Many users have already requested this feature and some of the competitors already have this feature.

RE: The Long-Awaited 4K Dual-Lens Solar/Battery Cam- Argus Track Is Now Available!
https://reolink.club/ArgusTrack-COM
Since this is a battery camera, I'd like to know how many events the camera can be triggered for recording on fully charged battery. That way I can gauge whether the camera is appropriate for certain location. Reolink claims 10 minute charge with 6W solar panel can provide 24hrs of uninterrupted performance. What does this mean? This is a battery camera so the claim is very confusing. Can you clarify? -

You should see the green rectangle for detected motions in both realtime and recorded video. Yes, you need to be on Clear, not Fluent to see the green rectangle. -

Turn on Motion Mark under Detection Alarm on your mobile app to see what triggering the events. I've been getting a lot of rain here in California and no issue with my TrackMix. You might want to play around with object size setting if the problem persists. -

@issom
Try disabling hardware decoding first setting to see it alleviates the problem. -

Not sure what cameras you are using but try disabling hardware decoding first setting. -

Go to Reolink website and download the Mac Client app, not from App Store. -

Install iPad version of Reolink on your Mac and enable notification on the iPad app. That's how I get notifications on my Mac. Don't forget to run the ipad app once whenever you reboot your Mac. -

Depending on ambient light. You can see very far unlike the camera that relies on IR light. I am replacing some of my IR based cameras with CX410 which includes TrackMix. You can search CX410 on YouTube which should give you some idea. -
RE: Multiple detection areas
@christian-meneghini_543174703677572
On a battery camera like argus 3 pro, people, pet and car have their own detection zone. It is not quite what you are asking but close. Not sure why PoE cameras haven't gotten the feature yet. We just have to keep asking I guess. -
RE: Can Reolink Cameras detect KNOWN faces?
@jfbaro_664228245382261
From what I heard, Eufy's face recognition isn't reliable yet. Frankly, Reolink can spend more time on software. Currently, Reolink can't even provide a coherent software features set. For example, a battery camera like argus 3 pro provides multiple detection zones while this feature hasn't made it to the PoE cameras. -
RE: A rollback
@nacster_1969
You download client app from Reolink so you should keep the old copy like I do. Lucky me, I run Mac Client and haven't had all the issues that Windows users are having. As for iOS, you have to go thru App Store, so Reolink can't help you getting the old version. -
RE: Display Views
@jotaguy_658996609335357
Correct. I have suggested the customized option where user specifies the number of rows and columns to accommodate the panoramic cameras like Duo and Fisheye. The current fixed display options were probably designed before the panoramic cameras. -
