@user_585783633887262_585783633887262 You can always build your own mount. I myself have done that by going to Plastic Depot to have them made one for me. Reolink can't possible made one for all scenarios. I suppose you can always request.
@weezy_622210795184172 I am guessing this is French which I can't read. Sorry. Are you saying you can't set smart detection (human, car)? If so, you might want to reset the camera or contact Reolink support for help.
@weezy_622210795184172 What's your recording option setting looks like? I thought E1 supports smart detection - human, car.
@weezy_622210795184172 I don't have this particular camera but my guess will be that you have "any motion" setting in your recording setting. Just use smart detection (human, car, pet) and make sure to uncheck the "any motion" in recording. Technically, any motion outside the detection zone shouldn't be triggered but that doesn't seem to be the case in my experience. I only record smart detections so no issue for me.
@jsusann1955_585959809814767 You are doing 24x7 recording? How old is your NVR? Typically it lasts 3-4 years and in some cases it could be shorter.
@dave-and-laura_609438826115167 Yes. Easy to see. Unplug the wan port cable from the router that connects to the Internet. Your desktop can no longer access to the web sites but you can still view your cameras.
@julian_481116254322917 Yeah. The window layout was probably designed before the dual lens camera. The ultimate solution is to have a customize option where user can define the window layout, whether 3 or 5 or some odd number of windows. Allow to define wide or normal view, the number of rows, etc.

@user_585783633887262_585783633887262 I've used H2testw on Windows. I have migrated to Mac so I now use BlackMagic which is available on both Mac and PC. You can do a google search for other test apps as well. The last counterfeit SD card I got was Sandisk Endurance. Write test failed and I had to return for refund. You want the Samsung Pro Endurance over their faster SD card. Faster isn't necessary good for recording. The Pro Endurance can handle many more write cycles than the faster card which usually has much shorter lifespan. Good luck.
@user_585783633887262_585783633887262 Counterfeit SD cards are very common these days. They will cause problems. I always run a speed test (both read and write) whenever I get a new SD card or experienced these sort of issues. Highly recommend Samsung Pro Endurance SD card over others.
@reolink-fiona I might also add that many floodlights on the market can adjust the angle of the PIR sensor. I actually own 3 floodlights. The PIR on them can be swiveled side way and tilt up/down. That makes it very flexible to point at the direction to optimize the motion detection.
@reolink-fiona Most generic motion floodlights on the market have the PIR sensor that can cover at least 150 degree. 180 degree PIR sensor is quite common. Many of them have sensitivity adjustment so you can actually shrink the coverage distance. Reolink is a security camera company so I understand it wants to align with a typical security camera view which is about 100 degree.
@reolink-fiona Software improvements.. 1) Reolink needs to support at least 2 motion detection zones. This will make the camera flexible and powerful. For example, one detection zone for day time and another detection zone for night time operation.2) Mac client software is still based on Intel processor. Apple no longer makes Intel Mac anymore. So Reolink should be built for the universal version which will allow the Mac client run more smoothly and efficient on Apple Silicon machine like M1 and M2 Mac. Video on Reolink iOS app runs very smooth due to the fact the Reolink app is compiled with the native code designed to run on Apple processor.
@reolink-fiona I might also add that I'm still waiting for the AC wire version of Duo floodlight camera. I am sure Reolink can convert the DC version of Duo floodlight camera to AC without problem. Pretty much all floodlight cameras on the market from Eufy, Ring, Amcrest etc. are AC power.
@reolink-fiona What's next after Duo 2 camera? How about Trio? 2 wide lenses plus one telephoto lens similar to Trackmix camera. The purpose of the telephoto lens is not to track like Trackmix. Rather, to see the far objects since Duo 2 camera is typically used for big coverage. Duo 2 digital zoom can't take you very far without suffering the image quality.
@big_ted You might want to wait if you are using RL822A camera. With 8.8.2, I'm experiencing choppy audio with my 822A camera when running in Clear mode. Downgrading to Standard resolution alleviates the problem but that is not a solution for me, especially in my fast wifi network. I wish I kept the 8.8.1, now I have to contact the support to get the 8.8.1. The issue doesn't effect the Duo 2 camera though.
@lockyo_343437773390047 Are you sure about Duo 2 battery only supports up to 128GB SD card? It seems odd since Duo2 PoE and Wifi support up to 256GB SD card.
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Bummer. I guess I'll wait for the AC wire version of Duo floodlight camera.
@mikepelham_440994520543420 You need to go to Reolink download center to get the latest firmware. Update check on the app doesn't work. Never has been.
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Available on Mac client as well. Not sure why it isn't available on mobile apps.
