@roger_338406533693591 You may not have the DirectX dll libraries used in the development of the client. Try installing the DirectX redist (June 2010)....yes old dlls. Try it. It won't harm your system as these are added to the DirectX11.
@jsrone_193492483571881 I suggest you to submit your request on https://support.reolink.com/requests/
@zero66 Yes I saw this on other brands and I did suggested it for quite some time.
@antti_388235293470903 Kindly submit your details on the issue on https://support.reolink.com/requests/ In this way they will know on which models this issue is occuring.
@tomselbyuk_331910860959874 This issue has already been raised by a couple of customers and hope that Reolink provide a new client. Kindly submit your request on https://support.reolink.com/requests/
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 I fully understand you and it should be left to the customer to chose what he/she wants. It only works when the PC running the client and the cameras are on the same network. We have been telling them to change but so far nothing changed.And yes the website is sometimes not updated and fw are sometimes provided to individuals. If there is fw then it should be avilable to all. Every 3 months I email support to see if there is any newer fw for my models. It shouldn't be like this. This should be like other brands where the application prompts the user that there is a fw update on any of the connected cameras. Hope they will adopt this method.
@oakmont_633419891937300 Excellent.
@user_751589389476074_751589389476074 So you are looking for a battery operated camera. These come with PIR which detects object through Infra red. Distance detection is less than 10m at full sensitivity. If 8 m is rather too short than you need to have a POE/DC powered camera. If 8-10m is enough you can opt for Argus 3 Ultra or Argus PT Ultra. @jake_743584866869413 Do you need a subscription for Blink cameras to have this feature?
@jake_743584866869413 Thanks Jake. We have been asking for this features for a long time now. Kindly submit your request on https://support.reolink.com/requests/ The more requests they get the higher the probability of being implemented.
@user_751708504047858_751708504047858 I am a customer like you and assist members based on my technical knowledge and experience.We need to ask Reolink on whether they intend to add the patrol feature to the TrackMix. @shayla Kindly reply to this request.
@user_751656139354360_751656139354360 I have RLC511WA running fw v3.1.0.989_22051909 and never had any issue. Recent Windows clients are taking some seconds to connect to the camera. This has been confirmed by a number of customers. I guess the last robust client was the 8.8.4. I would certainly email Reolink support for the RLC511.
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 This is the case when you view the camera remotely whereby the customers will be using the AWS/Azure P2P Relay servers. This service is not free and bandwidth comes at a cost.so there is a tradeoff. This seems to be forced from 8.8.5 onwards.
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 Penso di si ma che cosa puo' far!! I am on v8.12.1 and working fine for me. But I saw people who reverted to v8.11.0 which seems to be more stable. Note that 8.8.4 is a 32 bit client and Reolink are no longer compiling their client for 32bit OS.
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 This is not available on the Android application but available on the Windows client. But when you receive the email you the title of the email includes the name of the camera.I have upgraded to v8.14.0 but had to revert back to v8..12.1 because the icon controls are no longer available. I will report it.
@user_749600345792662_749600345792662 8.14.0 is available. I haven't yet tried it out.Update: I installed v8.14.0 and lost the icon controls and so I rolled back to v8.12.1. I will report it to support.
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 I do not recall entering the camera name in the email setup. You shall receive Alarm from Camera Name in the email title.
@user_751035939598501_751035939598501 Not yet available. Try to buy one from your nearest DIY store. That's what I do for all my cams and are by far cheaper. Search for a universal junction box at Amazon.
@user_751004229992689_751004229992689 Go to main menu and select device order.
@user_750994276589749_750994276589749 We have already suggested them to implrment an event history log as it is cumbersome if the object crosses various cameras. We simply click on the event which shall start the associated clip.
