@th_620442697576459 Try to connect it to your smartphone hotspot as illustrated in the following link https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/900000449566-How-to-Connect-Reolink-Cameras-to-Phone-s-Hotspot/At least we know that the camera is fine.
@reolink-lorenz Suggestion: I would have rather included the icons on the same bar where there is the download to allow more viewing area to the playback. Yes, one can have the full view.
@mart-tob_723653357826278 Can you describe what is the issue? Maybe you have no video? Today they have released 8.12.1 at their download center. I just did the upgrade and so far it seems fine.
@ikolcheff_690588802470381 Ensure you have set the correct ports as illustrated below (TSL enabled/disabled).
@md They need to embed the geofencing API in their Android and IOS clients which shall allow the user to define parameters (geofences) which surround the areas of interest (house). The Reolink app gets a notification when the smartphone crosses a geofence and this allows the client to alarm or dis-alarm the cameras. Scene mode is fine but it should be further enhanced to include status and a flexible scheduling. And if switched off there should be a notification(s) that the scene mode has been disabled so one won't forget. This is all software and can easily be added.
@fritolays_721934216421523 Yes, this could be another option for all tracking models. While tracking the time to stop timers takes priority over return to monitoring point.I suggest you to send an email to Reolink Support with your request. It seems that features are prioritised in accordance to requests.
@pdivi_492401853944051 Which client are you using to communicate with the cameras? Any bandwidth issue?
@brandoncarrolleet_691346059215349 Unfortunately it is no longer possible to change the shutter speed and exposure on Reolink cameras. These were available on the initial cameras. Try to set the max bit rate and max resolution.
@condo_669529796935777 In Android, the operating system prioritizes WiFi over mobile packet data by default, and will automatically switch to a stronger and more stable WiFi connection when one becomes available. This is because WiFi is generally considered to be faster and more reliable than mobile data. However, this priority can be adjusted by the user in the settings of the smartphone (under development option for Android). The smartphone will always try to use WiFi when available, but if the WiFi connection is weak or not available, it will switch to using mobile data instead. Which is the model of the cameras? Is it connected using WIFI or Ethernet? Which client version are you using? Does this occur when using the same network as the camera or from an external network? Is there any bandwidth restriction or any fw rule (you receive push message notification but unable to open communication.....for me a bandwidth issue? Try to add it using the UID from the same network and check.
@decko999_126212170571978 I am assuming that your PC is on the same subnet of the cameras. Have two suggestions.
Is this a new E1 zoom? And this is the first time you are recording the video to your PC on this model?
@shane You need to install the microsoft or google authenticator on your smartphone so as to receive the 6 digit code. Login to your Reolink account and turn 2FA off and on again and start the procedure.Check this out https://my.reolink.com/two-factor-authentication/
@martijn_722445807239381 You're welcome. Enjoy the streams :).
@shane You're welcome.
@victoria_627138625310723 Would you consider to restore one camera and check again. Delete it and re-create it. They need access to your computer to check what's wrong. Whenever my customers have an issue on the application I sold to them, they run teamviewer (freeware) and they grant me the session ID and the password provided by Teamviewer when running. You will see what the other party is doing. But this depends on your willingness and trust. And as you said you are fine with v8.11 and will check for future updates.
@ryknow27_627679456792796 I am not aware of this hw version. So please email Reolink support and they will check it out.
@martijn_722445807239381 Add the second stream which is h264 and the main being h265.so main /h265Preview_02_mainand Sub /h264Preview_02_subCheck this out https://www.reddit.com/r/reolinkcam/comments/wg8oua/trackmix_and_blue_iris/
@user_722724860186806_722724860186806 I have been asking support for such a feature and had no feedback on when it shall be implemented. Surely it is in the list but I guess the priority is minimal. Kindly send a request to reolink support.
@dylan_674349904887874 In order to share specific cameras then you need to access the cameras directly from the Reolink client. Currently your cameras are connected directly to the NVR ethernet ports abd subsequently you can access the cameras ONLY through the NVR. The NVR software won't allow you to share specific cameras. Either ALL or NONE. So if you need to share specific cameras then you need to change the setup. You need to purchase a POE switch (assuming your cameras are POE) and connect the cameras to the POE switch. Connect the LAN port of the POE switch to the BB router. Then you can either connect the NVR to the other LAN port of the POE switch or to another port on the BB router. Then create another user on these specific cameras and provide the UID and credentials of this user to your friend. He should install reolink client and add these cameras.
@clashtv111_690499181482713 I suggest you to email them. They shall reply within 24 hours.
@jimbrown-net Email them again. There was a similar issue on the ptz icons on trackmix and it has been fixed. I consider this as a 5 min job.
