@maxuline Thanks a lot. I have subscribed to be informed once a new fw is available for all my cams. I didn't receive any email and so the service is not working.Installed. They should have added the pet detection, 5G preference, etc. These are routines which have already been deployed on other units. So most of the coding has been done and tested. The network issue was that if there is a power outage on the router, there are instances where camera won't connect to the WIFI. I had this and did report it several times.
@reolinkshayla Does the owner shower himself?
@glenn_48835891270 This has been requested by other customers. Submit your request to support @ reolink . Com (delete spaces).
@user_799175474421935_799175474421935 I suggest you to email support on support @ reolink . Com (delete spaces)
@email_525317533946102 maybe a defective light sensor. Can you restore the camera by clicking RESTORE? Note that the WIFI settings are not lost.
@davee223_32187049783548 Most probably you have both the 32bit and 64bit clients. Remove both and do a fresh install.
@user_785205237727429_785205237727429 Yes spotlight brightness is adjustable as illustrated below.

@nick_26792935116 There are lots of sites showing you how to capture traces on Wireshark. This site doesn't allow me to add any.
@nick_26792935116 A wireshark trace will help.Typical log on the FTP server side.Incoming connection request on FTP listener 22 at 192.168.1.ZZ:21 accepted from 192.168.1.YY:ABCDEAUTH TLS234 Authentication method acceptedSSL connection using TLSv1.2 (ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384), 256 bit encryptionSSL connection establishedUSER ********331 User ******, password pleasePASS ***********Native user '******' authenticated230 Password Ok, User logged inCWD 2024Unable to read attributes on path 'c:\ftproot\2024' : The system cannot find the file specified.550 No such directoryMKD 2024Directory 'c:\ftproot\2024' created257 "/2024" directory createdCWD 2024250 Change directory okCWD 03Unable to read attributes on path 'c:\ftproot\2024\03' : The system cannot find the file specified.550 No such directoryMKD 03Directory 'c:\ftproot\2024\03' created257 "/2024/03" directory createdCWD 03250 Change directory okCWD 06Unable to read attributes on path 'c:\ftproot\2024\03\06' : The system cannot find the file specified.550 No such directoryMKD 06Directory 'c:\ftproot\2024\03\06' created257 "/2024/03/06" directory createdCWD 06250 Change directory okMODE S200 Mode is StreamTYPE A200 Type ASCIIPBSZ 0200 PBSZ=0PROT P200 PROT P OK, data channel will be securedPASV227 Entering Passive Mode (192,168,1,ZZ,YY,195)STOR Backyard E1 OD Pro_00_20240306175235.txt150 Opening data connectionSSL connection using TLSv1.2 (ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384), 256 bit encryptionSSL data connection establishedSuccessfully stored file at 'c:\ftproot\2024\03\06\Backyard E1 OD Pro_00_20240306175235.txt' (76 B received)226 Transfer completeQUITConnection terminatedThe connection is closedConnection terminated
@nick_26792935116 As you can see from screenshot below, cam starts with plain FTP and then asks for AUTH and ftp serve accepts it, it changes to FTPS using TLSv1.2.Uh I cannot add screenshots.... Unbelievable.Try to transfer file from your PC to Synology using the cam account. Error 450........ like server cannot write in file.
@nick_26792935116 Try to disable ssl on Synology. You shouldn't have a trailing '/' at the end of the pathname. Can you use Filezilla/Coreftp client and try to transfer from your PC to Synology using the cam account?Any logs on Synology?Did you upgrade the fw of the doorbell?
@artech I have no idea. But this should have been rigorously tested before launching it to the customers. I used to spend over a year testing a Mobile Switching Centre before putting it into service. Similarly for IMS networks. I still cannot understand how their method is going to work. I know all the technicalities around the method employed by Arlo, Eufy and Wyze.
@nick_26792935116 I presume you have provided all the rights to the account. It seems it starts to write but is restricted. Would you be able to install wireshark and capture a trace? Use FTP and disable ssl on both cam and synology.
@user_746623229407444_746623229407444 Normally they implement the feature on the camera and then they extend it on the NVR. You can reach their support on support @ reolink . com (delete spaces). I am a customer too and assist members wherever possible.
@user_746623229407444_746623229407444 Yes, I know about this. It has to be used as a standalone.. that is connected through a switch.
@user_746623229407444_746623229407444 Applicable to both models as indicated in the description. Go to download center and see what has been added/improved.But from the feedback provided by customers, the calling feature is not working. I didn't test it yet as I am not on site.Go under push notification.
@nick_26792935116 Don't include url as they are not allowed. Add spaces.Try to install Filezilla or Cerberus ftp server on your PC. It should work. To troubleshoot capture traces through Wireshark.
@nick_26792935116 Yes, it has been released, removed for a few days and is not back at the download center. Did you manage to make the call feature working?
@gralin So far none of my cameras did ever invoke an upgrade. I keep record of their current version and every quarter I email support to check whether there has been any newer fw. Note that for battery cam, the only way is to ask Reolink support to add it to your cam profile (identified by UID) and then it will be automatically updated.
