@user_620089981972582_620089981972582 Thanks. There is no add-on which can turn this NAS into an NVR and so the solution with your existing system is to use ftp. It's easy to configure ftp/ftps on NAS but I don't know whether ftps is available on this camera. Check from the Reolink download center whether you are running the most updated firmware on the camera.

RE: RLN8-410 fail to backup certain time period GMT 00:00 - 01:00
@user_620020921540663_620020921540663 Thanks a lot for your patience. The last two of the first batch were executed because it exceeded 01:00. So the issue is when the hour remains zero between the start and end and there is no video which ended after the hour. This is a simple software bug which Reolink can resolve. I guess they will provide you with a beta firmware to check it out.

RE: Storing recordings
@user_620089981972582_620089981972582 Of course you can do it directly as long as you have an NVR compatible with Reolink cameras.
Have a look at https://reolink.com/product/rln16-410/
Just for my interest which NAS do you have? -
RE: Love the New Floodlight WiFi!
@reolink-fiona Thanks a lot. Any projection to increase both the PIR angle and detection range?

RE: RLN8-410 fail to backup certain time period GMT 00:00 - 01:00
@user_620020921540663_620020921540663 And if the start time is 19.01 and end time is 20.01, will it fail too? I guess it is a software bug with the 00 hour since it works with GMT.

RE: Storing recordings
@user_620089981972582_620089981972582 Install an ftp server on NAS and setup the ftp on the camera. If you need secure ftp then use ftps if available. Therefore the recording will be stored on SD and then ftped to your NAS.

RE: Sharing access to solar cameras
@crimp-on_62210811129 I told him to change the credentials so that they will no longer log onto the camera.

RE: New Version of the Firmware Download Center Available!
@jsusann1955_585959809814767 Just follow what Fiona suggested. Download the file on your PC and copy it to a USB. Then insert USB to NVR USB port, go to system and click on maintenance tab. Click upgrade from USB and select the file and voila'.
Then check the cameras firmware with that of the website and if it is newer download it and apply it to all cameras. This can be achieved either through the NVR or individually using Windows client. -
RE: Argus PT 2K any better limiting false alerts vs Argus 2e
Argus 2E The Argus 2 cams were the first generation of IP cameras and at that time there was no AI implementation. Thence there is not much to do to mitigate false alarms and this merely depends on the PIR sensitivity and how the cam is installed. Recall that movement across the scan area is more effective than movement directly toward or away from the sensor. If movement is made walking directly towards or away from the sensor and not across, the apparent detection range will be substantially reduced.
However, in the new models with AI embedded there are a number of settings which greatly reduced false alarms. You can select any motion, vehicle, person and pets together with setting an alarm delay and object size. To this is the zone detection and exclusion. So your question is which cam shall I opt for? This merely depends on your requirements and I suggest you to visit Reolink products. Should you need assistance just jot your query here and we will answer you. -
RE: Love the New Floodlight WiFi!
@reolink-fiona It looks stunning. Have a question. What is the detection angle for the PIR?

RE: Sharing access to solar cameras
@user_602187556462673_602187556462673 They share the same credentials. With UID only you won't access the camera. Did you follow what I proposed you?

RE: Firmware mismatch between two E1 Outdoor cameras
@stef Please email Reolink support and ask them for the recent firmware for E1 OD. Just include the hardware version. Keep cameras and clients updated.
I guess they were from different batches. But anyhow it is easy to upgrade once you have the file. -
RE: E1 Pro only make noise like a submarine
@user_619607405752347_619607405752347 Try to switch the camera off for 20s and on again. It seems to be a new installation. See if this helps you in the installation: https://www.google.com/search?q=installing+e1+pro+reolink&rlz=1C1CHBF_enMT853MT853&oq=installing+E1+pro&aqs=chrome.1.69i57j33i160.10492j0j15&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUqBwgBECEYoAEyBggAEEUYOTIHCAEQIRigAdIBCjEwNDkyajBqMTWoAgCwAgA&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#kpvalbx=_2GZOY5-YGpj8sAfilLCIAw_26

RE: Failed Operations Android or Iphone (Push Notifications)
@user_619086925692975_619086925692975 Are you able to watch live views through the Android Reolink client? If you are able then the camera sends the UID to Reolink P2P servers as otherwise there is no way to communicate with the camera.

RE: suggestions for consideration.
@lyle_531706038124792 Hello, I have both models and didn't encounter any of the issues you have described. The detection of RLC511WA is awesome and never missed an object. You need to make use of all the settings to avoid false alarms in particular the alarm delay timer and the object size. A bit of patience during setup and voila'. The only issue I have found is that if you lock the 5G from the main router there might be the possibility that you will not reach the camera. The only way to reconnect is to power off/on the camera. But if you power off/on the main router then it's fine. Support are delving through this and hopefully it will be sorted out in the next firmware release. Well, Argus 3 Pro is fantastic and as you stated it lacks the pre-motion but if implemented this requires a bigger battery pack to keep up its continuous recording. None of the Reolink battery operated cameras offer 24x7 recording.
At most times I am able to watch the recorded videos without any issue. Please check that the cameras have good WIFI coverage and you have adequate bandwidth on both the router and the mobile. If possible try to operate them on the 5G band. -
RE: Failed Operations Android or Iphone (Push Notifications)
@user_619086925692975_619086925692975 if you are running Reolink client on Android...go to settings...application...find reolink...click and set allow notification.
