@mamymam2013_465350299701478 Hello Buddy. I am fine but super busy with a mobile network testing. Hope you are getting well with this hectic life. I don't use the Reolink Windows client a lot. Mostly I use it to upgrade the firmware. I did see this flickering on the new version but not that often that would bother me. I didn't report it to support as I know the answer :).
@greg_868971036258457 No, it has nothing to do with 5G or 4G as it is also happening when you are on an external WIFI network. So this test excluded packet data and smartphone. So the issue is either the Router or the ISP. When you create a tunnel, then it is a direct communication and the ISP has no clue of what traffic is passing through. It is as if your smartphone is on the LAN.
@jk1211_705377705345248 What can I say. I am a customer like you and wish that they give more considerations to the customers requests. Their HW is quite good but the sw needs improvements. We are missing a lot of features. You may request again support on support @ reolink . com
@greg_868971036258457 if you are not familiar with networking protocols then you will be starring at the trace. The trace has to be on the egress of the router. How is your network setup? So to eliminate the mobile packet data, please carry out the test of viewing through NVR from an external WIFI network. Say from McDonald's or Starbucks.35Mbps as upload is good. I have 1G/250Mbps.What is the model of the router? And there is no restriction I.e firewall rules? So the issue can be in any of these nodes.Your router, P2P servers provided by AWS/Azure, ISP, mobile operator and smartphone.
@stimpy But this is too much for the camera. All that you need is 12W. Search for power adapter with 12V 1A DC output.
@greg_868971036258457 If you are familiar of networking protocols, you can capture a trace using Wireshark and see what is happening.Ensure 1k to 64k UDP ports are opened. Try to check upload speed on your router every hour when the situation is the worst.Have you tried to view playback on your smartphone when connected to another external WIFI network?
@hometheater503_202558512976108 good to hear you solved it.
@luuke_869320929738914 submit your request to support so one day we see this implemented. I have asked for it a number of times.
@stimpy Transformers work on AC (Alternating Current - like mains) and can either step up or step down the alternating voltage. So in your case the transformer step down the Voltage from 110V to 12V AC. However, the input to the camera is DC (Direct Current - as the output of battery) and subsequently you need a rectifier bridge to transform the 12V AC to 12V DC.
@hometheater503_202558512976108 So your smartphone is on Edge (gprs). This has low bandwidth and won't allow you to watch video. Your smartphone should be connected to 4G RAN.

@user_874208928067806_874208928067806 I suggest you to go to Reddit Reolink and go through the comparison table prepared by the moderator Mike.
@home_picton_875545193726136 Client only sees the home hub. To see cameras you need to log on the home hub.

@user_874142518182053_874142518182053 For battery operated cams. you need to email support on support @ reolink . com and ask them.
@maz_8193 Normally the APN name (correctly written... no space...see how it is on smartphone) is required for mobile modules. I don't have any Reolink 4G cams and so I can't tell what is the requirement.
@paul-parsons_462324807000239 WIFI issue. Get the camera near the router and try again.
@user_875155658457265_875155658457265 None of the models are able to accurately read the number plate during the night. It's reflective. You need to invest in an expensive camera.
