@user_839852726681784_839852726681784 Kindly report this to support on support @ reolink . com
@seccon Whenever I install an external camera, I use the junction box. Not from Reolink. Most important it is at least IP55.
@brodie Not yet and have asked them for an update.
@user_843366580216026_843366580216026 I wasn't aware of this and never came across. The beer.............. now filtered and pumped in the sea :). Enjoy life.
user_839852726681784_839852726681784 if it is still under warranty I suggest you to take it up with support. Before doing this ensure you have the latest fw. Check it out from their download center.
@stevenlavigne50_713244953382940 If a camera is behind the NVR it can't be independently controlled with shortcuts. It's all or nothing unfortunately. So to get the full flexibility put the cameras behind a switch.
@laxs_621360047689761 I have been asking support and they said they are working on it.I told them that you need to change the implementation and base it on SIP+SRTP (VOIP) or XMPP +SRTP (like whatsapp). The way it has been implemented is rather a push message notification and people receive so many notifications that they ignore them (even at the expense of a different tone). Customers want to receive a call on their smartphone and able to talk or change the video. This is just a SIP UPDATE or REINVITE message with a different codec.
@rod-pad_706781485060244 There is no view save in Roelink Android and Windows clients.
@user_843366580216026_843366580216026 I thought you did a restore. Restart and Restore are the first two tasks to do. Anyhow glad to have sorted out. Enjoy the weekend...........drink wine and beer......
@user_740173137399967_740173137399967 For the ports you can check this link https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/900000627703-Which-Default-Ports-Used-by-Reolink-Cameras-should-be-Allowed-to-Go-Through-the-Firewall/In order to allow push notification you need to allow pushx.reolink.com. The IPs point to AWS servers which are also used for P2P. You may have Azure, depends on your location on the globe :).Anything else?
@user_843366580216026_843366580216026 can you try to install Directx redist and check again. It won't do any harm as it will install old dlls. And this is happening on all cams right?
@tomsreolink I already told them. It is of utmost important to keep customers informed with the latest developments, fw upgrades, roadmaps with estimated deliver time, etc. And that any client or fw release should be rigorously tested.
@big_ted I never got any updates on my battery cams....Argus 2, Argus 3 Pro and Ultra and Duo 2. They are all with the original fw. I have asked support and they said...that's the newest. So I don't think that they upgrade the fw of battery operated cams. This is my personal opinion. I keep a record of the fw of each cam.
Did you get all the answers to your questions? Reolink POE cams can work below -35 Celsius. I have seen members in Reddit claiming that they work even below -40. FTP and FTPS are available on the POE cams and you can use it without any issue. This is what I do.
@user_852347091337442_852347091337442 not available as part of configuration.
@john_681252442742930 Go to Reolink download center and select the RLC811WA. Mine is on 3608.
@user_860921202528478_860921202528478 Check the thread https://community.reolink.com/topic/6495/ftp-directory-inaccessible-454-error And can you take a screenshot of how you entered the directory on the camera? There shouldn't be a trailing /.
@crimp-on_62210811129 Exactly this is what we mostly used. This incorporates the H265 codec.
@reolink-daisy nice...the carpenter used the wood he had in his workshop.....
@user_dbouchard_623756488863828 Kindly submit your request to support on support @ reolink . Com.
