@crimp-on_62210811129 I fully agree with you. It seems that there is no technical guy checking the posts and correct bugs in this forum. There were times where I had to rewrite my comment three times as it is not accepted. Even external URLs and email addresses are not accepted. Sometimes even there is restriction on length esp if one includes a photo. This doesn't happen at Reddit and there are a lot of contributors not like here. I do contribute too. There are 2 moderators who test most of the units and so they have the necessary experience to answer queries, 3 super users, Reolinkers, 3 Reolink employees, etc. I mostly reply to queries based on my technical knowledge and the specs of each unit (from their website). I do this in my free time as I am very busy with mega projects.I used to block the IPs but they change it. I told Reolink to change the login procedure. Use 2FA with the code send to the mobile.
I have this WIFI doorbell and don't have the audio issue on Android. Would you be able to test it on an old smartphone with Android 12? Just a test. I guess you did restore it too.
@user_843392756887721_843392756887721 On battery cams, detection is based on PIR which has a max range of 10m. Max detection is when crossing the PIR rather than approaching it. I did explain this in another reply and you may search for it.Only the WIFI and the PIR circuits are drawing current until the PIR detects an object. Once PIR is triggered it starts the application which starts to identify the object, check if there is recording, check whether an email/push notification is to be send, etc. So it takes some time. Sometimes if the object passes quickly across its FOV, it will not be recorded. Set the PIR sensitivity to 98 and smart detection of human to 75.
@gianni Maybe by the end of August. Try to ask support on support @ reolink. com. I have two DUO 2 and I don't complain.
@gcooka_100637573370054 I use different SSIDs for each floor.
@user_815308834750654_815308834750654 From application go to Advanced and click restore. Before doing this get the UID from INFO as you might need it to add it again.
@user_815308834750654_815308834750654 Try to restore the camera.
@borvold_839893353246871 We have already requested this for some time. Kindly submit your request to support on support @ reolink . Com.
@user_842978421846157_842978421846157 I don't have this camera in my ecosystem. If you didn't find them under DISPLAY then there isn't any such setting. You may wish to request support on support @ reolink . Com
@kylimo_837175850053876 Unfortunately you need to use mobile packet data or else extract the SD and read it through a PC.
@rol_640066282610764 The only way to add a camera to a Reolink NVR is at the NVR console. You need to connect a monitor and a mouse to the NVR and add it there. You can't add cameras in the app or web UI.And make sure you have the recent fw on both the NVR and doorbell. Go to Reollnk Download Center and check them out.
@nosey_830903815241951 What is the fw version of your NVR? Go to their Download Center and check that you have the most recent fw.
@user_693509236822213_693509236822213 We have requested to have schedules and status in shortcuts (previously referred to as scene mode). I suggest you to submit your requests to support on support @ reolink . Com. The more requests the higher the probability of being implemented.
@blackhatcon_440478845636849 You're a good spotter ...:)
@user_798408209101051_798408209101051 Kindly submit your requests to support on support @ reolink . comThe more requests they receive the more we see such features being implemented.
@big_ted yeah...I didn't check the specs as I was handling a call.
@user_842182319931583_842182319931583 Yes, that's the solution when you have two graphic display drivers. Since they changed the client to 64bit, the parameters are stored in other logs.
@colin-brown_341151587041437 We have been asking this for years and we still waiting for. Submit your request to support on support @ reolink . com
@vogel_284858079064306 check this out https://www.reddit.com/r/reolinkcam/comments/kn53d0/network_cable_wiring_question/
@blueflyer49_779987971661962 You cannot have continuous recording on battery cam due to battery draining fast. So the detection is based on PIR which has a max range of about 10m if sensitivity is set to max. This means that only the PIR circuit is consuming current from the battery. Once motion is detected it will start the application to analyse object and start recording and send email/push notification. So I propose you to set the pir sensitivity to 98 and set the sensitivity of the other objects say to 60 or 70. You need to tune the best settings. Remove any motion or other from push or email as you will be bombarded with messages. Just tag pet, persons and vehicle.
