@ks Yes, that was released on the 7th Aug '23. We are waiting for the new one to test the call out feature.
@jedi2020_32727772450952 It's not on their website. I think they are pushing it through their download servers. You need to have auto upgrade enabled.
@user_mhm_789920451715266 This is based on PIR detection which has limited range (max 10m depends on a number of factors such as temperature, object crossing or approaching FOV, etc). When the PIR detects motion (Change in voltage on adjacent segments) it will run the application which shall determine the type of object, check whether it shall start recording, check whether to send an email or push notification, etc. So if the object passes quickly the camera may miss it. Therefore the best cameras are the poe and dc powered camera which can record 24x7 and able to record before the object is detected. Detection is based on pixel changes and can detect object as far as 100 feet away.
@user_795865570918615_795865570918615 50m is too much for a 20AWG wire as the voltage drop will be high. 10 to 15m shouldn't be an issue but 50m is way too long. Would it be possible to get a mains extension to the location? I have both the E1 OD and E1 OD Pro and would say that they are great with the exception of tracking. Sometimes they won't get to the configured monitor position and so I have to manually correct the guard position. On the E1 OD Pro the frequency of occurrence is less since the camera starts to track when the object reaches the border of the FOV. I have this issue with TrackMix too. Otherwise they are quite good for their price tag.The E1 OD Pro is 8MP and there is no extra feature.
@user_784224808100067_784224808100067 Good to know. That's why I told you whether you have clicked restore which sets all values to their default values. So this is invoking a restore.
@user_795423039275249_795423039275249 it requires the re-activation of https on the camera using either the Win or MAC client.
@user_795552833015992_795552833015992 I am not aware of any dependency. The new firmware is disabling https/http and one has to use the Win client to enable them. Did you try to log on the camera from the pc connected to the same vlan? I have seen that if you set static IPs on their cameras (mine all WIFI) they still send the DHCP DISCOVER and await for the DHCP OFFER. They use this to determine whether there is still connectivity with the router. This is a bad design in engineering and they should ping the gateway. Can you try to re-install the firmware on the Internet accessible vlan?To get the previous fw you need to email support. Otherwise search for reolink fw archive and there is an unofficial site which archives the fw of all Reolink products.
@appleholic_530987916144784 It is on the NVR too and you can select from which camera ( channel) you can receive the push notification. Have a look at https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360013378753-How-to-Enable-Push-Notifications-for-NVR-via-Reolink-App/#:~:text=Step%201.,the%20same%20as%20other%20channels.I think you have UID disabled. Enable it and check again.
@ks Yes, they are pushing new firmware which shall include calling when button is pressed.
@zxasdfg_463323467174024 Yes, appl and cams should be on the same vlan/subnet. You have to solve this by using source nat.
@appleholic_530987916144784 This is weird. Push notification shall be there in all the cameras. Would you be able to install the Windows reolink client and check? I use Android and Windows client.
@reolink_rg_546096455053495 submit your request to support.
@user_795552833015992_795552833015992 Did you perform a hard reset?
@user_795498294485127_795498294485127 Enable visitor in recording and push notification. Appears under schedule.
@user_784224808100067_784224808100067 I suggest you to email support.
@imcneill_467871306096807 So there is a bug in the third case. Send an email to support on support @ reolink . com (delete spaces as site doesn't allow me to include email addresses).
@seb_526812765704330 Correct. Sometimes the website is not updated. Every 4 months I request support to check whether there is any newer firmware for all my cameras.
@user_794879583903878_794879583903878 Check these linkshttps://community.reolink.com/topic/3833/corner-mounting-bracket-for-ptz-pt-cameras?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiA5-uuBhDzARIsAAa21T_Ej_5xBXBJQMKHLwV0Q_FSHNV9ECgZvHElQ9l0lyK2kgUVrya1u-EaArn4EALw_wcBhttps://community.reolink.com/topic/3989/corner-bracketAnd at Amazon
