@coolque_441678449471730 This has been implemented in the E1 OD Pro. This is not selectable.
@coolque_441678449471730 I have the E1 OD and I have disabled the tracking feature. I don't think that this can be sorted out through a fw upgrade. The occurrence may be reduced by changing the tracking method (Track object if it goes out of FOV) but it won't solve it altogether. A new gearing mechanism will sort it. My personal opinion.
@luis-pimentel_512770181832955 Uninstall previous clients and install the v8.14.2. Maybe you have something in your PC which is hindering this.
@user_778152629846158_778152629846158 This error message indicates a network-related issue that occurs when a connection between your PC and the cams is unexpectedly reset from the camera side. It occurred while trying to read data from a network connection. I suggest you to report it to Reolink support. I have seen members complaining that v8.14.x sometimes have memory leaks....maybe they don't flush buffers after an error crops up.
@user_676976072548514_676976072548514 You won't do any harm if you raise the complaint at Reddit. There are thousands of members there who are using Reolink cameras in areas below zero degrees. I am a customer like you.
@user_778275310854286_778275310854286 This could be the first assigned when DHCP was used. As I stated if this is used to verify the WIFI connectivity with the router then it is a bad design. Perhaps there is another purpose for which we are not aware of.
@user_777957503115429_777957503115429 Did you upgrade the client? You may revert to an older version.
@user_772575263842484_772575263842484 Using the Windows client, go to Networks/Advanced/Server Setting and enable HTTP/S and RTSP.
@user_778275310854286_778275310854286 My assumption is that they are doing DHCP requests to verify communication with the router. Yes, this is not the correct way. I would have opted to ping the gateway of the router. I did complained about this.
@ssmeise_533987170722005 Reset is the best option. Still cannot figure out why it was not possible to connect via the Android/IoS client. Win client uses the same communication protocol? Have you restarted the smartphone? Have you upgraded the client?
@big_ted I am looking for these two models too :). Same taste. And yes we hope to see Reolink investing in more testing and provide more stable clients. We are here to assist in testing.
@user_676976072548514_676976072548514 I don't have this unit but have other solar powered cams from Reolink. What I noticed is that on the application it shows 100% and when I remove the panel it goes down to 87%. But otherwise I had no issues. For me there seems to be an issue in the charging circuitry. Have you tried to take it up with Reolink support? Moreover I suggest you to raise your complaint on Reddit Reolink community (https://www.reddit.com/r/reolinkcam/) where there are members running solar panels below 0 degrees.
@nickburt218 Try again on the 12M cam,
@user_777824613310594_777824613310594 Yes with the exception of FTP. FTP is for the event recording. You may also use RTSP with a HA and you may record all the streams from the cameras. There are myriads of HAs on the market. As I stated before, if you opt for a POE NVR, ensure you also get a POE switch and connect the cams to this switch. Then connect the NVR to POE switch and POE switch to BB router.
@mechanics200_57936638379 I always tell them to add more resources in testing both the fw and clients. I used the scene mode in the past but no longer. I asked for the status and a scheduler. As for the antenna, if not available in Reolink store then check out Amazon. The connector is standard.
@user_777824613310594_777824613310594 You always need redundancy. Normally you use NVR for 24x7 recording and SD for event triggered recording. Always opt for high endurance micro SD cards. Note that in case of ftp, you need a third party application to view the files individually.
@richsnj Indeed it is using a lot of CPU resources. 38% is too much for a client. They need to change the way they process and display the streams.
@nickburt218 On each camera go to date & time under System and synchronise to your PC. I guess you don't block port 123 (NTP) on your BB router.
@nordo_776225435984080 Good to hear that. Enjoy.
