@chopstix don't have this model.
?@user_801722146836689_801722146836689 That's the newest fw for that model. Maybe it's a power issue. It is restarting. Is this connected directly to the mains or using an adapter? If using a dc adapter, can you replace it? it's 12V@1.7A.
@gabs_338098463609012 I recall that previously updating of the cams connected to NVR was directly through the NVR. However, they updated the fw which allows the connected cams to be updated through the pc application. So check the fw of your NVR through their download site.
@reolink_332252861841648 Reset and SD slot. Check out this link https://m.reolink.com/product/reolink-duo-2v-poe/?srsltid=AfmBOoqwvk6MBqvJT6gdi_q3hjuJKD2SKPgDy1cWGQHfGe4JclKKhvu2
@user_865954023559356_865954023559356 You need to tune the sensitivity. It is rather difficult to have a setting which suits all scenarios. It takes some time to find the optimal setting.
@user_656454200799252_656454200799252 Which client are you using? Did you try the Windows client? Note that the update check on the camera doesn't work and always shows that you have the most updated version. I suggest you to open ticket with support.
@ntsec_439115516678293 Follow this link https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/900003637866-How-to-Set-up-Email-via-Reolink-Client/
@user_921978579837158_921978579837158 I don't think so. It will write to 512G. If it writes above 512G then there is no guarantee that the video will be played. 1.5T SDs are costly. Better you buy the Home Hub Pro which can be expanded to 16T.
@pughde_253162287014047 Maybe it was removed from all NVRs. However, if you want to digital zoom you can use the scroll wheel on the mouse. Better than using a button.
@jtchil0_907126660792492 Normally we also install a plug in camera to cover the main entrance which shall have person/vehicle/animal detection.
@gailsmule_905391527133360 Install Netspot from Playstore on your Android smartphone and check the signal strength of your WIFI 2.4G and 5G bands at the location where you wish to install the camera. If it is less than -70dBm then you are fine otherwise you shall encounter communication issues.
This application allows you to check if your neighbours are using the same channels as yours and this will cause interference. You can change the channel from your router.
@user_921292635025597_921292635025597 These cameras are not meant to read LNP especially during the night. And if the camera is speeding (over 15Km/Hr) by the the time it starts to record the object is already out of the FOV. Ensure that the road is decently lit during the night and the camera is nearer to the object. The IR lamps in most cameras would just reflect off the registration plate making it unreadable. If you really want to have the number plate of every vehicle passing then you need to have a more expensive camera with higher shutter speed, optical zoom, WDR and higher fps. If you have a plug in camera (POE or DC powered) then you can stream (ONVIF) to BlueIris and check its number plate reading algorithm. I have this camera too and this issue occurs both in B/W and color (when exposed to bright light) mode. Hopefully they will correct it in an upgrade.
@k5map_863223247839380 Just enable ONVIF from the camera side and then configure it on HA,BI, etc. It's fairly easy.
@oakmont_633419891937300 I still will opt for a separate POE switch than using the internal software switching method. If NVR fails then you will lose communication with the cameras.
@chopstix Using our time to assist wherever possible. We use our experience and engineering skills.
@chopstix it is rather difficult to state why it stopped streaming to 2 PCs without knowing the network configuration and if the client was experiencing leaking memory or conflicts with other services. Best option is as you stated to open a ticket and support will ask customer to forward logs.
@alexopth1512_245527657816316 Maybe you have unifi protect on. Check this link https://www.reddit.com/r/Ubiquiti/comments/1hdaw1l/how_to_add_reolink_onvif_cameras_to_unifi_protect/

@daljit_695428348211455 I don't have Alexa. I suggest you to ask support.
@weiliang I have already suggested these ideas to Reolink. The purpose of the cameras is to provide security but at the same time they should be secured. Apart from encryption, we need to have location tracking (add GPS) and HB mechanism (inform customer when x HB packets are missed out) even when they are in standalone. Not everyone has HHP/NVR. I even asked for SIP client and sound detection. These are few suggestions from the numerous I suggested to support. Let's hope one day we see them.
