@wleibrook_480642943336579 Hi, there. The object size is not related to where you position the box. For example, in the human/vehicle alarm mode, any moving person or vehicle that appears in the camera's field of view will be recognized. And an alarm will be triggered if the sizes of them on the screen exceed the Minimum Object Size and being smaller than the Maximum Object Size. You can also disable the Object Size. Then it will trigger alarms without restricting the size of the recognized person or vehicle.

@wleibrook_480642943336579 Hello, there, you can refer to this article first to learn How to Configure Motion Detection Sensitivity for Reolink Cameras:https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360006992493-How-to-Configure-Motion-Detection-Sensitivity-for-Reolink-CamerasAs for the specific adjustments, you can also let our support team help you to test and choose the suitable ones.
As for the Object Size, moving objects that are smaller than the minimum object size or bigger than the maxmum object size will not trigger alarm. You can customized the object size by your actual usage. It is not necessary to set it. If so, the alarm will be triggered when there is an object in view.As for the Alarm Delay, quite a lot of false alarms happen at night or on snowy or rainy days. If snowflakes and raindrops enter the box of the stationary object, resulting in sudden changes and false alarms. To reduce this circumstance, we add the Alarm Delay feature. How it works: AI may take 20 frames in 1 second to analyze and see how many frames are with the motion. Only when AI detects motions in most of the frames, this motion is considered a true alarm. We recommend you to untag any motion if posssible. Just detect person, vehicle. And enable the alarm delay to reduce the false alarm.Recommended settingsFor person detection, 1 second; For vehicle detection, 1-3 seconds.
Hello, there. As for the sensitivity for smart detection, the higher the level, the more sensitive the motion detection. For instance, in level 1, the alert will be triggered when motion is detected in 10% of the motion detection area; In level 50, the alert will be triggered when motion is detected in 0.5% of the motion detection area. You can set different motion sensitivity values for the four time periods. You may change each period’s starting and ending time to adapt to the changing lighting conditions of the surroundings. It is recommended to set the sensitivity higher (10-50) in the daytime and lower (1-10) at night time.To find the best sensitivity values at different times in day/night, please test the system during different time periods. You may ask a friend to move in front of the camera for which you want to adjust the sensitivity. The ideal sensitivity level is the one when your friend's movements always trigger the motion detection, and there are no false triggers (or very few) when your friend isn’t moving.
Hello, there. The RLC-823A with the latest firmware supports auto-tracking schedule but the cruise schedule is not supported now. I have forwarded your request to our tech. I will notify here if there is any update.
@magnust RLC-510A only supports human/car detection now. Your request has been collected. We will notify here if there is any update.

Hello, there. So far some Reolink cameras with the lateset version like Argus 3 pro, E1 zoom, E1 pro, E1, Duo 2 PoE, Duo 2 WiFi, Trackmix series etc have beta with pet detection. You can check them at https://reolink.com/
@dgordon42_415060065599711 Hi, there. It's about the product design. RLC-511W is a different camera from RLC-511WA (RLC-511WA is with the hardware version that support time lapse while RLC-511W is not).
Hi, there. Our tech is turning this function into realization. Just wait.
Hello, there. May l know do you want to wake up which camera? Since the PoE/WiFi camera can work continuously, only the battery camera can be waked up but battery cameras don't support API files.
camera not showing in my cloud

@md Cables should be enclosed in a waterproof junction box conforming to IP66 or better. Sometimes even if you write it in BOLD or different colour they won't follow.
Right. Junction box is the best choice now. l have also fowarded @md 's suggestion to our product team about providing the plastic cover of connection ends and emphasis on the protection of them in user guide.
@hometheater503_202558512976108 System maintenance has caused the webpage to temporarily stop working. They are now back to normal. Sorry for the inconvenience.
We have improved it in the latest client version:8.8.2.(Check at download center.) The default steam is Fluent. If you change it to Clear. Next time it will automatically display the Clear stream.
@dgordon42_415060065599711 Hello, is this camera's name RLC-511W or RLC-511WA? Please check at "Settings"-> "Device Info"-> "Model". Only RLC-511WA supports time lapse.
Welcome Back!
