Can't wait for the Android version!Maybe something to consider: everytime i change the screen in the app, i have to put it manually to 5 mp. It woud be nice if it stay at the same and not have to change it all the time.Thank you!
Salve volevo sapere se l aggiornamento è automatico o lo devo inserire io manualmente grazie.
Thanks for the update, some useful features. What would be really useful is if the PZT function 'zoom' and 'focus' had a bar on it, so you know how far you are e.g. zoomed in or out. Initially, I sometimes wonder when using this if I have reached maximum or notSomething like this....Tazzy
Great updates! I'm excited for some of the new features. I would also love to see the following features added to the app/client:1. Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode on iOS? I've read on your forums that this was a limitation with iOS. Is this something that will be eventually overcome? I've started to notice some iOS apps implementing this feature (e.g.: Netflix).2. Picture and/or video previews from push notifications. A picture of three-to-five second video preview of the motion/person/vehicle alert would help identify if further action is actually required, v.s. a false positive.3. Creation of multiple detection "zones" per camera.4. Quick forward and backward when viewing video playback: A button on the GUI to quickly skip backward or forward 10, 15 or 30 seconds when using the playback feature (whether using when viewing full recordings, motion, person, or vehicle alerts)
@Reolink-Lorenz : Thank you for the explanation.I have the bèta version on my phone now.The live view stays at High now when i leave the app, but you are right, the loading time is longer.
Congratulations for all the new releases.I recently bought 3 new RLC-810A cameras, and I was testing the firmware beta version of 810A cameras, and there are many new improvements. I was getting a lot of alerts with rain, spider-webs and fumes from water heater, and the new firmware with "Alarm Delay" feature solves these issues. Congrats! Now, a suggestion for another improvement - the implementation of geometric shapes with edit points in "Motion Detection Zone", and also edit points in "Privacy Mask".
time lapse on client ...nice to have more control......the power ...lol
My view freeses all the time. With live view and with watching recordings on Android. I am using the old app version, because the bèta Android version was very slow.
Playback also still doesn't work all the time.
The date for the Time Lapse in the Bèta Android version is not correct.
With the Client Version 8.7 BetaThe live camera view defaults to Standard view (which I think is the same as Fluent). And I can change the camera view to Clear by right clicking on the live image. This setting change will remain while the client is running. My recollection with the previous client version was that after changing the live view to Clear, this setting change would be saved so that when starting the client after shutting down, the client would boot the live view to Clear.Observation with 8.7 Beta - changing the live view to Clear is not save after a client re-boot.
I just installed the beta version 4.29.3 for android, and indeed the playback of recorded videos is very slow now Looks like frame-by-frame playback instead of having smooth video playback
Hi Reolink Team,I did capture some traces at both the RLC511WA and the Client sides and noticed that the all the packets transmitted by the camera have reached the clients. You have a byte denoting the packet number. When the playback was set to low, the video preview was smooth and the sound was continuous. This means that at low resolution setting the camera was able to transmit the packets at a CBR with no packet loss or delays between packets. Then I changed the resolution to CLEAR and despite that there were no missing packets, the video can be seen sometimes freezing and the sound chopped. This is apparent when there is movement in both live and previews. There was no issue of bandwidth at all and both the source and the target were on the same subnet. Thence the issue is at source. It could be inefficient H264 encoding (I guess software encoding is used) at high resolution or hardware issue. I also noticed that the max downloading speed for FTP is 1.2Mbps. This is low especially when you are on the same subnet. I even changed the bit rate for 5Mbps with the recommended value of 1536kbps but didn't observe any improvements.I checked another model, the Argus 2 and the same issue has been observed at high resolution. Appreciate if the engineering team check and get back to us with their findings. Regards,Joseph
Alarm Settings is broke in this 8.7 beta. Does the same thing for all cameras and RETRY does nothing.
