New firmware updates has added this feature to my CX-410, RLC-823a 5X and RLC-823a 16X cameras running on Windows Client v8.14.0.

Its not automatic zoom, but 3D zoom is pretty darn nice!

Guess I fell lucky ... looks good for me.

Great improvement using the new version on Windows 11, loads camera's faster and downloads quicker. And it looks nicer! So far, so good!

I had a similar problem which was corrected with a firmware update. I believe v3.1.0.2347_23061923_v1.0.0.93 is the latest update.

There is new firmware version for the 823a 16x camera in the download center that now will also support auto-tracking when in patrol mode. GREAT new feature!

I got the same "wrong format" message when I tried updating my RCL-823 16X which on firmware (v3.1.0.2040_23041423_v1.0.0.93) with the above mentioned firmware!

The download screen is missing the video selection type for the RLC-820a camera. I have the latest firmware (v3.1.0.956_22041501) and have rebooted the camera. I have also deleted the camera and added it back to the windows client.

3D Zoom is a great new addition!

I can confirm. I downloaded v3.1.0.2217_23051711_v1.0.0.31 from Reolink's website and installed it. It has now been removed and is no longer available to download. Its been working fine without problems so far!

@reolink-fiona Do you have any details regarding the in focus depth of field for this sensor + Lens + Aperture combination.

I ask because I currently use another Reolink camera mounted quite low down to record nighttime wildlife and the animals can be quite close to the camera.

Hence requesting the nighttime distance from the camera where the subject will be in reasonably good focus.

No problem(s) with the new window client with noticeable speed improvements using my RLC-511w, RLC-810a, RLC-820a, RLC-823a, RLC-823a 16X, Argus PT 2k and Argus 2 (4 cameras) cameras.

Try connecting using the UID if you know it.

No full screen. The full screen [ ] icon is missing.

This beta version has fixed the problem of downloads hanging when downloading a large number of videos. It is also a lot quicker and better than the current official release.
 
But the download problem was also fixed in the last beta version but the file changes never made it to the official release. Hopefully these file (downloading) changes make it to the official release!!!

I had to delete the folder. Then I rebooted my PC and recreated the folder.

Give preset points start times. Would like to have the camera monitor different locations at different times of the day. Example: Parking lot at night, entry door during the day.
