@jj_438212288213125 I suggest you to request this to support. Never came across such a scenario.
@user_902959861330057_902959861330057 in the absence of IR the camera will not be able to see clearly and detect objects. The one you are proposing is used in battery cams which use PIR detection.
@user_815206675906696_815206675906696 It has powerful spot lights as illustrated at https://reolink.com/product/argus-track/
@user_617650665832448_617650665832448 Under recording/schedule untag other.
@user_809262480933115_809262480933115 I suggest you to email support on support @ reolink . com . I do not think the dev team read what we write here. Never seen any feedback from them.
@nick_26792935116 On Reddit I have seen Reolink admin stating that the standalone hub shall be available in June.
@drealine_329342379503810 Yes, we did suggest support to add the backup and restore of configuration file on each cameras. Hope one day we will get it.
@user_809262480933115_809262480933115 Appreciated. We are here to assist wherever possible. My suggestions or ideas could be your solution. I am a customer like you but have a vast knowledge and experience in networking, Telecom and software development. We have been asking for webhook since day one and they should deploy it on most of the cameras. I have asked for fully fletched IFTTT (not everyone uses HA), matter or MQTT. They have good cameras but they should improve both their fw and clients.
@big_ted Indeed. Software has no limitation other than one's imagination. Just dream it and implement it. That's what I did when I was a software developer in C++/Assembly.There was a member who asked you for the download/upload speed (plus ping and jitter if possible) on your StarLink connection in Australia. Maybe he lives there too :). Do you experience any delays?
@antonio089_626720538640449 if you have no electricity then your option is to have 4G cameras charged through a solar panel as suggested by Steve. And ensure that you have local recording (on SD) as well as in the cloud just in case the cameras are stolen. There is the GO PT plus and Duo 2 LTE.Have a look at https://m.reolink.com/product/reolink-go-pt-plus/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI9IrI8YnQgAMVhdzVCh32FQTWEAAYASAAEgIYdPD_BwEEnsure you have a strong 4G coverage as HSPA bandwidth (3G data) is not enough.
@flashmagnum I am on Android client version 4.52 and when the icon shows one box then when you click on the camera you get the wide-screen view only. You need to swipe to the left to get the telephoto view.
@big_ted hope there is one from this community.
@boss06518_449790654218427 Just have a search for '12V 4A with 2 way splitter' and you will find at Amazon.
@egmontr_304656000733347 Kindly submit your request to Reolink support on https://support.reolink.com/requests/ . Shortly Reolink shall update the client to have a different ring tone if the doorbell button is pressed. However, we, as customers, are requesting Reolink to call the smartphone as is being done by competitors. We receive lots of push notifications for a myriad of appls and so we need to have an incoming call on our smartphone when the doorbell button is pressed. Their proposal as an interim is fine but we need a SIP call.
@reolink-daisy Inspirational design. We wish to have more F1.0 cams with wider vertical FOV and more robust communication protocol. And of course we would like to see some of the most requested features. Thanks and keep it up.
@user_727993210269845_727993210269845 Well RTSP entails for a constant stream and so producing one from a wireless camera requires the feed 24/7. The solar panel don't produce enough power to run a continuously transmitting camera. But even though the solar panel did produce enough power to run during the day, then you need a high capacity battery to having run during the night. And this comes at a cost.
@user_901203979997352_901203979997352 we have requested that festure. I read that during this year they will add IFTTT.
@nsk This has been requested.
@user_692258092847314_692258092847314 You may hide it in a small plastic junction box near the solar panel.
@chopstix That's the design now.... it works as designed... their usual answer. I had similar issues with big suppliers and then I withheld support payments.
