@manrot_376517035909361 Just go to the specs of the camera and check the protocols supported. For Browsers you need http/https.From the specs of E1 Pro at https://reolink.com/product/e1-pro/?gclid=Cj0KCQjw06-oBhC6ARIsAGuzdw1fuopOB8JLDefR6Yz2uFPrf_PEWNyI5fd_MNrzfsm3tezzdzxnUEUaAo5rEALw_wcB#specificationswe see that http/https are not supported.
@user_835186644893887_835186644893887 we already requested this. Kindly submit your request to support on support @ reolink . ComThe more requests they receive the higher the probability of being implemented.
@jedi2020_32727772450952 IoS I meant MAC.....was in a meeting with my engineers while typing :).
@user_745241262715024_745241262715024 No need of any plug in on any of the browsers. Both the E1 Zoom and E1 Zoom AI have an ethernet port. Opt for the E1 Zoom AI.
@kimchigun We are here to support them and provide feedback, ideas and suggestions. I do email them and provide constructive criticism. They own the product and they decide what to have and not to have. There are lots of things to improve and as you stated the hardware is quite good. What they need to improve is the software and customer care.
@nomahisssss_477125106348271 Object tagging which triggered detection is not yet implemented on Reolink. Customers are looking for it.
@user_697868551373008_697868551373008 This is based on PIR which detects the Infrared emitted by the object and it is triggered when the object crosses adjacent slots. If you approach the PIR then it takes time to trigger the PIR until you come within 5 metres when the adjacent slots are nearer. So the best location is that the PIR direction is perpendicular to the direction of motion of the object. Note that PIR have a short range of max 10m with the sensitivity set to the highest value. And when the camera is IDLE only the PIR circuit is drawing current. When it is triggered it will start the application, start the recording, identifying the object tyoe and triggers the push notification/email. So it takes time. Sometimes as you stated the object is not shown in the video as it has already passed the FOV.Best option is to have dc powered cameras which are constantly recording and their detection is based on pixel changes. Here you will get recording before the cam was triggered.
@kzn_889685160136894 Mostly they are either at Reddit or Facebook. At Reddit there are more requests which we do our most to support based on our experience and skills. Note that I am a customer like you.I have already forwarded similar features to support. I think more than a year ago. They should segregate recording and notification zones.
@davidandrewpowell81_526149738635440 Correct and they have introduced a scheduler on the sensitivity but has been restricted to motion. This should have been extended to cover all object types. There are still issues with IOT and clear stream views. I forwarded my feedback to senior support and hope they clear them before this is launched to the public.
@user_697868551373008_697868551373008 You're welcome. So the best setup would be to have POE AI cameras connected to a POE switch and from the POE switch connect it to your ISP router. Then opt for an NVR and connect the NVR to the router too. Don't forget to read the specs and if you don't understand ask. Never be shy in this world.
@s-lerouzes_46498539735 As a customer too, I do agree with your proposals.
@maineac_706707508990194 Yes, they are fixing bugs and developing some new features . Personally I won't make my application available to the customers unless I am 100% sure that it is functioning correctly. I used to spend a lot of time testing and re-testing before handling it to my customers. The missing icons in live view and the calendar issues have been solved. However, they still need to solve the clear mode stream and the floodlight configuration.
@input_343270296944801 This is old. There are newer firmware as can be seen in the unofficial site at https://[censored]/AT0myks/reolink-fw-archiveTo ensure you have the newest official firmware email Reolink support.
@lafunamor I don't recall any vendor doing this. You need to setup a vpn server at home and use a vpn client to access all your devices at home.
@big_ted I did a quick check and observed the following.
I will report them to the senior support. The issue of the CLEAR stream related to the DUO 2 has to do with some old libraries being used in the development (old MS C++ distribution packages, DirectX, etc) and is not in my notebook. In 4 years time this is the first time I encountered the issue of no video. Will troubleshoot it later on.
@kodu-valvur_731575810646223 They stopped manufacturing Smart WIFI plugs. Only the floodlight is the IoT available from Reolink.
Now that the Home Hub Pro (HHP) has been released for quite some time, we expect a proper integration with the battery doorbell. Currently the fw available to the public will not allow the integration of the chime. So most of us will leave the battery doorbell as standalone. However, Reolink have a beta fw (request through support) which shall add the chime as a device and then there is the functionality to link this chime to the doorbell. Once this is linked then it is possible to have the chime sounding when the ring button is pressed. But those customers who have enabled the rich notification will no longer have it once the camera is integrated to the HHP. Even other cameras which have smart event detection will not have this feature any more once the camera is connected to the HHP.Reolink, please provide the rich notification and smart event detection on the HHP.
@user_649233705312379_649233705312379 Try this https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360012466173-All-Reolink-Client-Versions/If this is not the one you had then email support.

@kimchigun In total agreement. This is 1950's era. I cannot understand the reason behind this unprofessional implementation.
