@user_623715019411529_623715019411529 I have both the RLC511WA and the E1 OD connected to 5GHz WIFI and never had any issues of disconnections. If you have disconnections that it is surely a WIFI issue. So you have a mesh router and a number of APs configured as mesh. Ensure that 5GHz signal is quite good at each camera and assign different SSID for 2.4G and 5G band and connect the cameras to the 5GHz only. This shall ensure that the camera will always connect to this band. If you still have the issue then connect the cams to the 2.4G band and monitor.

Ensure also that you have the latest firmware installed.

@big_ted If you use their SIM then you need to roam over a local mobile operator with whom they have agreement. So customers have to buy a data package from Reolink. Reolink will have various operators offering SIM data services eg.. 1 in EU to cover EU countries which have roaming like at home.

@pedrofsilva_762258334912663 Three months ago they asked us to provide our feedback on improving the scene mode. We have requested a flexible scheduler together with status. We also ask for geofencing too similar to what other brands have. However, I didn't see any updates on this development.

@daniels1973_751452936073460 Under Alarm Setting set motion sensitivity to High and smart detection to 50. Under Record untag any motion, just leave person and visitor. Under push notification untag any motion and person (assuming you don't want to be notified for each person passing infront of the house).

@big_ted And why we still don't get the prompt from the application that there is a new fw available. It can also list the changes or include a URL so that customers know what has been added/changed/improved or deleted.

A remark on the mounting. The mounting is similar to RLC-511WA, RLC-811WA, etc and it can easily be pushed downwards. Not tight at all. It has to be locked.

@faasio82_480971996033257 Downloading of high res files is either a bandwidth issue or a phone issue. I can download both H.264 and H.265 files in high resolution modes on my Android smartphones without any issue. Ensure that the application stays open as otherwise file transfer stops and won't restart again.

And for the second problem I do agree that the application needs more refinement when playing video. Sometimes it appears as slow motion. Even during live stream at high resolution the voice sometimes get chopped. I did inform support on it and hopefully they sort it out.

You cannot have continuous recording on battery cam due to battery draining fast. So the detection is based on PIR which has a max range of about 10m if sensitivity is set to max. This means that only the PIR circuit is consuming current from the battery. Once motion is detected it will start the application to analyse object and start recording and send email/push notification.

So I propose you to set the pir sensitivity to 98 and set the sensitivity of the other objects say to 60 or 70. You need to tune the best settings. Remove any motion or other from push or email as you will be bombarded with messages. Just tag pet, persons and vehicle.

1. Put PIR sensitivity to 92 and person sensitivity to 65. Try to tune the person sensitivity.....but do not make it high as you will get a person detection for a swinging plant.

3. You shouldn't get anything from the non-detection zone. Try to activate the 'motion mark Beta' and check what has triggered the camera. This is available on both the latest Android and Windows client. You need to view in CLEAR mode to have the motion tagging.

5. We normally disable 'any motion' as we are only interested in persons, vehicles and pets. Otherwise for any motion ( a branch, snow, etc) you will get an alert.

@building-a_142124144668895 best way forward is to implement the de-facto standard for IoT messaging which is MQTT. But have no idea when Reolink shall be embarking on this. Competitors already started to deploy it.
