@boss06518_449790654218427 Just have a search for '12V 4A with 2 way splitter' and you will find at Amazon.
@user_726158772113569_726158772113569 Unfortunately this is how it works on this version. I recall a version which led me to the recorded clip. I have reported to support but didn't get any feedback on when this shall be implemented. I have also requested that when playback is selected, it should take us to the last recorded clip and not to 00:00.Please submit a request to Reolink support.
@renaud-hx_437082136477858 Buon apre-midi. I change to French as I have forgotten most of the words. Your NVR is rather old and the doorbell poe is compatible with the NVR listed in this article https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/12703727549721-FAQs-Video-Doorbell-PoE/#:~:text=Does%20Reolink%20Video%20Doorbell%20PoE,system%20information%20of%20the%20NVR.Other than not detecting the doorbell button when pressed, it will not support the two way audio and AI person detection. So what other solution you have? Well you need a POE injector or a POE switch which shall allow you to have the doorbell connected to the BB router and you can access it directly with your Android/IoS smartphone. In this setup you shall have access to all features. Note that you can still record to the NVR.
@r-c-maeder_691806499725573 Kindly forward your request to Reolink support on https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/requests/new/
@skeptouchous Indeed it will assist Reolink customers.@Reolink-Lorenz Kindly forward this request to the dev team. Thanks.
@user_713404410871982_713404410871982 Yes, directly connected to one of the 8 ingress ethernet ports. In this configuration you cannot share individual cameras but ALL of the cameras. Similarly when you activate push notification it shall be to all cameras and similarly to email notification. More flexible to update individual cameras too and you have to scene mode to activate/deactivate certain cameras. But anyhow keep the current configuration and if you need such features then add a switch. Note that this is valid as long as the camera has the UID. If you bought it as a kit then it might be that your cameras don't have a UID and so the features I mentioned are not applicable.Always check for firmware updates related to both the cameras and the NVVR and may check them at Reolink Download Center.
@claytonrice_397473179595004 I thought you already did the deletion and creation of the devices like the previous customer. I did ask Reolink support to include older firmware and clients as this is requested by many customers. I am a customer like you and I am here to give support based on my engineering/software skills.
@claytonrice_397473179595004 Check this https://home-cdn.reolink.us/files/client/electron-release/reolink_setup_8.11.0.exe
@claytonrice_397473179595004 Check if you have it in the download folder?
@jjacq You're welcome. Enjoy.
@user_726829142737134_726829142737134 Depends on the bitrate and the frequency of detection.https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360008997773-How-Much-Data-Does-Reolink-Go-Need-in-Normal-Usage/#:~:text=Reolink%20Go%20Plus%2FGo%20PT%20Plus&text=to%20512%20kbps).-,Under%20default%20settings%2C%201%20GB%20of%20data%20can%20be%20used,a%20month%20should%20be%20enough.
@skeptouchous This is referred to as grouping. This has already been suggested by members and myself and I agree that this will be very useful when one has quite a number of cameras. This should even be extended to NVR.
@user_713404410871982_713404410871982 If you have connected the camera directly to the NVR ethernet port then on the client you should only have the NVR in the device list. To see the camera you need to get through the NVR menu through the client. If, however, you have connected the camera through a POE switch (if cam is POE) or a normal switch (non-POE camera) then you can have both the camera and the NVR in the device list of the client. In this was you have better management of the camera.
@fredrik_443121366618298 It is designed to work like that if you are accessing the cameras from an external network. Under this scenario, the media flows through P2P relay servers provided by Azure/AWS and so the bandwidth is limited and incur charges.
@jeffguad4_687165403890297 Indeed you should read the specs of the camera (or any device) you intend to buy and read some reviews to give you an insight of what you are purchasing. Reolink battery operated cams don't support ONVIF/RTSP for the obvious reason of battery consumption.https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360004441753-Why-Reolink-Battery-Powered-Cameras-Cannot-Work-with-3rd-Party-Software/?gclid=CjwKCAjw5_GmBhBIEiwA5QSMxIT4fjSjt-6NZZo7Q_I-vuwmylRMJwNPj7RqG6vQwZxWzbfWIa3R3xoCLeQQAvD_BwE
@jjacq Can you delete one of the cameras which is not appearing and add it again? If you still encounter the issue try to disable 'hardware acceleration first' from the client main menu.
@r-c-maeder_691806499725573 I suggest you to take it up with support. With the current fw it is not possible to give such function to user.They need to re-engineer the user management part. They need to assign roles with selectable functions and these role ID assigned to the created user. This is how it is implemented on big systems.
@user_725429948465352_725429948465352 Reolink camera sends a dhcp request every 5 minutes to check that the router is available and this may have cause the issue. Assigning a static IP to a MAC address has mitigated the issue. You could have seen this through wireshark traces. But you need to know the protocol.
@jjacq Windows 10 or 11? Did you use the DirectX tool to repair the DX libraries? DX 9 is required.
@user_726524837326986_726524837326986 Grant full permission on the ftp server. Try to install cerberus ftp server on your pc and check if this is triggered. A wireshark trace in both scenarios can help you identify the issue.
