@guymwilliamson7_483830574665915 Try to restore camera.
@nitrate70_572608013877834 Not recommended unless you are a Windows guru. Install the client and add the camera by entering the UID. Very simple.
@kdgordon44_313186798092489 Reolink has at least 8 P2P servers and the client forwards the request for each cam to all of them. They are located at different countries. So the issue was not actually the P2P servers but rather you had an issue with the DNS. If you are outside the cam network the client needs to query the P2P servers. Querying the P2P servers is quite fast.
@ben-l_363180304232580 We will check the ticket and get back to you.
@jedi2020_32727772450952 especially after they launch the poe switch. They need to offer both and let the customer chose as per his/her requirements.
@freddy-fredricksonthe5th_397846696067267 Simply because there were a few requests.
@reolinkfan123 Just teasing you. You did a good job. And if you ask a professional person then he will ask for 80 bucks ... This is what I do too. Practically everything. Just read and buy the appropriate tools.
@lkageyama_369620850163942 Can you please let us know the ticket number?
@user_655116840280159_655116840280159 That's history now...
@lkageyama_369620850163942 Increase person to 55 and delay 1s and vehicle 50 and delay 1s. How far is the camera from the object? Before returning it I suggest you to email Reolink to provide you with an improved firmware. A bit of patience.Cam should be less than 3m height and facing detection zone.
@reolinkfan123 Brilliant idea. For a perfect smooth finish use spray to avoid brush lines. With 6 bucks you did a feast!
@lkageyama_369620850163942 Sure. I have a DUO 2 WIFI and have no such issues. However, I have upgraded the firmware and maybe this is what is required from your end. Can you email Reolink support to check that you have the most recent firmware? Just include the hardware version. They will answer you within 2 working days.
@lkageyama_369620850163942 You need to tune it....start with these values and increment.
@user_655116840280159_655116840280159 Thanks for the update. Appreciated. It's absolutely difficult to have an application which works across all old, new and future platforms. Would you be able to upgrade the Android version of the tablet to say 12?
@user_655116840280159_655116840280159 Excellent. Will definitely be appreciated by the members.
@ermaconsolini_619748074721328 If running on Linux it shouldn't be more than a 5 min job. Yes, email Reolink support first. They should answer you within 2 working days. And if there is a newer firmware it is fairly easy to upgrade. Come here and we will help you.
@chuck_529633235447953 Reset is totally different from reboot/restart. Reboot/restart doesn’t change any configuration on your cam/nvr while reset/restore will change the configuration to its default (factory) setting.
@ermaconsolini_619748074721328 I have these options on various cams older than the DUO but have a newer firmware. So I suggest you to email Reolink support and check if your firmware is the latest. Include the hw version in your email. If these options are not available then write a simple one line bash script (find /myfolder -mmin +5 -exec rm -f {} \;) and add it to the crontab (assuming Linux).
@user_653179371208819_653179371208819 This can be traced in two ways. Firstly each GSM module has a unique identification called IMEI (like the MAC address of the Ethernet interface) and this is requested by the MSCs for calls or MME for data sessions and this value is populated in the XDR (data record) for each call or data session. This is available at the mobile operator and if this is reported to the Police they should ask the operators to find out whether someone is using this IMEI. How they get to know.........from the inserted SIM................having IMSI and MSISDN (the number). Mobile operators have what is known as EIR (Equipment Identity Register) where blacklisted IMEI are entered and each UE is checked against this database each time it is attached to the network. And secondly the camera has a unique UID and so this may be blocked at the camera supplier side (if they provide this service). They also have the IP which is assigned to this UID and again one can find who has this IP :).And if you are interested in the mobile signalling flow I can help you :).
@user_653179371208819_653179371208819 Both wired and wireless have smart AI detection.
