Check that you have good WIFI signal at the location of the camera and have an upload speed of 10Mbps at the router side.

You may place cam near wifi router and check.

@crimp-on_62210811129 That's for X window server. At the client side you need an X window client and at the server an X window server. On the server side we used to enter the command DISPLAY. This shall echo the graphical display on the server to the client. This uses port 6001 and the protocol used is X11. Have you ever used XMING on a windows PC to access high end Linux platforms. I think this is needed by support to access battery operated cams when they need to investigate. I used this method to provide remote support on servers running Solaris and Linux.

Note that on battery operated cam, there is no apache...no https.

@ron-morgenstern_794924005208288 When it comes to the transformer you need yo know the VA, that is the voltage x current. You need to know the current provided at that voltage. So if the secondary voltage is 24V and the VA rating is 24VA then the current supplied is 1A. But if it is 24V and 12VA then the max current is 0.5A.

Moreover 200feet is a bit long and so you need wire with lower AWG (thicker wire) so the voltage drop is low.

Push notifications from iphone and iPad are different. Each has a different token from APNS which is forwarded to Reolink message application server. This application server pushed the message for the two tokens to the Apple APNS. The apple APNS has no knowledge that the smartphone has DND activate. So smartphone receives the push message notification and ignores it.

@user_gocamera528 So far nobody was able to hack the protocol used by Reolink. Of course if your friend knows your account username and you enter a simple password 1234 then he will logon and fraud you. But if you don't give him the username (UID) and the password is strong then rest assured that he will spend all his lifetime and won't log in. Activate the option to block user if 3 attempts fail to log on.

Submit your request to support on support(@)reolink(.)com. The more requests they receive the higher the probability of being implemented. I did submit my request last year. And I suggested if this cannot be implemented then improve the shortcuts to have a schedule and a status.
