@user_756125119496374_756125119496374 Did you check if there is any newer fw for the NVR? Go to their download site or email support on support(@) reolink(dot)com
@kanso_750323721805998 You can check the specs of both models on Reolink site. The RLC811A has varifocal lens with focal length ranging from 2.7mm to 13mm.
@user_802540945268898_802540945268898 Try to put this camera on a different VLAN or subnet.
@barry-thomas_801231966736556 Yes you can. Follow the link https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/15983237853209-How-to-Set-up-Recording-Schedule-via-Reolink-NVRs-New-UI-/?source=searchFor continuous recording use the TIMER and for motion detection only use ALARM.
@kimchigun Standalone Floodlights are no longer being produced. Really pity. I got one and happy with its functionality.
@bryster_45981449429218 Try to format it. If this doesn't help that you need to replace the SD. Ensure you get an high endurance SD.
@user_766032062857466_766032062857466 No. Only individual cameras. Maybe this is to limit the bandwidth used when connecting in multiview from an external network. But for local network they should allow the clear mode for all the cameras.
@user_802275514589416_802275514589416 I suggest you to submit your request to support on support(@)reolink(dot)com
@user_687502926336176_687502926336176 When I used to develop applications for my customers I try to be as flexible as possible. A lot of customers have requested this especially for the doorbell camera. Maybe when they see so much requests they will implement it.
@big_ted Normally the auto update has rarely been activated unless they push the upgrade to the appropriate repository for auto download.
@user_687502926336176_687502926336176 You are not missing anything. The user account is for preview only and cannot change anything as indicated in this link https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/900000605423-Introduction-to-Admin-Account-and-User-Account/I have asked support to allow the admin have the flexibility to assign privileges to other users. I suggest you to submit your request to Reolink support on support(at)reolink(dot)com (site doesn't allow the inclusion of emails)
@rblaursen_690488231854236 I don't have it. Use Android/Win clients. I suggest you to put that question on Reddit under Reolink.
@ebaruk_673045617504343 There is no response from the NTP server. Check your fw rule when the inbound traffic has destination port 123. It should work from both ntp clients v3 and v4. Reolink is using an old NTP client which is using the "symmetric" (peer-to-peer) mode. Peers in symmetric mode use 123 as the source port, so inbound replies will likewise have 123 as the destination port.Select another NTP server from the camera drop down menu and capture another trace.
@savino-iacobone_520818793263329 Sei troppo forte :). Di niente.
@gimpymoo_746274069995698 I have installed it on the WIFI version and so far no issues other than that the calling feature won't work the way we have expected. What issues are you encountering?
Yes, I cannot add URLs, Emails, and sometimes even photos. Words are also censored. Je ne sais pas!!!
So the cable connecting the PC. But you could have easily dealt with this by surfing on the Internet. So a connectivity issue. Sometimes the connector are defective. I did hundreds of RJ45 and sometimes do get this issue.Cut it and terminate it again.
@savino-iacobone_520818793263329 Ciao Savino, tu devi andara alla programma dove c'e' la schedina come illustrato qui sotto.
From the other PC or Camera, get the subnet mask (255.255.255.0) and the gateway (192.168.1.254) and add them to the IP config of this pc. Then ping the gateway with ping 192.168.1.254 or whatever is set in your router.Networking is simple.... complexity is when troubleshooting Telcos networks with lots of protocols.
@ebaruk_673045617504343 It should not be an issue as this is normally done at the switch level. The only issue is that the client won't work on a private network unless it is on the same subnet as the camera. Of course one can do source NAT and it will work. Reolink cams don't operate at layer 2.
