@user_750102319055027_750102319055027 Exactly, what does matter is sensor size. A 16 MP compact isn't ever going to be as good as a 12 MP Full Frame DSLR. The size of sensor that a camera has ultimately determines how much light it uses to create an image. Therefore, it stands to reason that a bigger sensor can gain more information than a smaller one and produce better images.So larger sensors can help capture better quality images, but they bring with them a number of other characteristics, some good and some bad. The first, and most obvious impact of a bigger camera sensor is that of size; not only will the sensor take up more room in the device, but it will also need a bigger lens to cast an image over it. The cost of producing bigger sensors also means that devices packing them also have a bigger price-tag. Bigger sensors can also be better for isolating a subject in focus while having the rest of the image blurred.

@user_749968963318003_749968963318003 Kindly report it to Reolink support on https://support.reolink.com/requests/.
@jwfreshfields_749987352432843 Yes you can. But I recommend you to install an SD card just in case there is a mains power failure in which case the router will be down. In this scenario you have the recordings on the SD.
@marksolis05_381294883066029 Try to add it again.
@marco-bologni_627616607150391 together with SIP calling.
@user_749909757513867_749909757513867 I think so. Did you get it working?
@tomo5432_677809804653234 This is embedded in the hw and cannot be added through a firmware. It's unique for each camera.
@rex-reade_426905021436068 This should not happen. They need to invest in more testing. Keep emailing them.

@user_749600345792662_749600345792662 I guess you didn't install the DirectX redist right? If you are able to view the cameras and have no issue just ignore it until this is fixed in the coming update. If there are issues then downgrade to 8.11.0

@user_664640953340025_664640953340025 I think SIP implementation on Reolink cams is not in the prioritized features list. Personally I wouldn't launch a doorbell without being able to do an outbound call, if not video at least audio. We receive myriads of messages on our smartphones and it is easily to ignore especially in a noisy environment.SIP is documented by RFCs but suppliers tend to implement extensions which cause a headache to operators. I have been through this when implementing an IMS network for an operator.

@mamymam2013_465350299701478 When connecting to the cameras from an external network, the client always defaults to FLUENT stream irrespective of what has been previously set. I do not think that they will change it. I did explain this in other articles.
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 I have them both and I would recommend you the Trackmix especially if you shall be enabling the tracking feature. The E1 OD Pro has an issue whereby sometimes it will not return to its guard position and you need to adjust it manually. I did have this issue on the Trackmix but the occurrence is far lower. WIFI 5 or WIFI 6. The cameras don't require high bandwidth and if you don't have a lot of WIFI devices then you won't see much differences. What is needed it a good WIFI coverage at the camera. I have WIFI 5 and all my cameras are WIFI and have no issues of viewing the cameras at high resolution. So based on your requirements go to the specs of each camera and see which one suits you the best,
@md I fully agree. This is what I always recommend.
