@klimavicius-irmantas_350705300095137 It fails to connect from both your smartphone and PC clients? Ensure that the 4G signal is strong as if it handover to 3G you may experience connection failures. Mobile operators tend to change the power of the eNodeB.
@rui-godinho-lopes_709100408737905 Yes but it has to host the COR to provide the header info.
@rui-godinho-lopes_709100408737905 For sure the cameras won't host the cross-origin resource but you may get the confirmation from Reolink suport on https://support.reolink.com/requests/ If this is supported they would have included it in the specs. But try
You need to use the Outbound Nat rule (manual) and assign the IPs. Otherwise try to use the 1:1 NAT as a start.
@rui-godinho-lopes_709100408737905 Is there any specific reason for using Firefox browser to stream from cam? Can you enter with https (assuming you enabled https on camera) and check whether you can watch live and playback?
@dt Try to submit these details to the support on https://support.reolink.com/requests/ Are you running the latest MAC client?
@james-jenner_683177101791235 What is the smartphone through which you cannot access the camera? Did you try to swap SIMs? In case of the NVR, the videos are stored in the NVR too. If you log onto the NVR then you shall watch the ones stored on it. However, I will try to fix the smartphone issue before I proceed to purchase an NVR and additional cameras.
@reolinkshayla The picture is superb. Keep it up,We now want to see some improvement in connectivity.
@user_741325401657593_741325401657593 To cover outside the area then you need either 4 DUO2 at the center of each wall or else to be more secured a camera (with lower FOV) at each corner (8). The cameras will be protected too.
@user_740306362052754_740306362052754 Strange that in the US the cloud service is for LTE models. Maybe they can connect you to another country. Try to submit your request on https://support.reolink.com/requests/
@tchubaba Try to source nat your traffic so to the camera it looks like it came from the IP of opnsense in this network. Client and cams have to be on same subnet. Their design.
@milezee It is always recommended to have the cameras connected to a POE switch. In this way you can connect directly to the cameras individually and you can assign a different user to each camera something which you cannot do if tge caneras are connected directly to the NVR.
@dathix_730391641854131 You missed the survey at https://community.reolink.com/topic/6233/survey-on-reolink-app-scene-mode?post_id=23852&_=1695646512277We did include a lot of ideas including the one you mentioned.
@ocsalomonsen_484527384805600 It's available on client when you select download.
@john_681252442742930 I have this camera on the front and never had any issue. Check that your fw is v3.1.0.989_22051909. Ensure that you protect all the cable ends. I have used insulated tape and have enclosed them in a junction box conforming to IP64.
@latez1_702748087968371 No, I don't have any visibility on their fw and hw. However, I propose a lot of ideas and improvements to the support team. It's their strategy of what to implement. Security cameras deter crimes, monitors scenarios and activities, gather evidence, maintain records and helps to arrive at the right decision. But how secure are these cameras? Do we have a means to know who logs onto the camera (IP), the duration and what has been modified or viewed? And this information should be registered and cannot be deleted by a reset, power cycle or any command. And if the cameras with SD are stolen, the videos stored on the SDs can be watched by inserting the SD in a PC. A secured camera should encrypt the recorded videos using AES 256bit and use the credentials as the key. And I have also requested that since the camera sent HB to P2P servers then the camera should have a feature that if enabled by the customers, then if the P2P server misses the HB message for say 10 times then the P2P server should alert the customer by email or push notification............. I suggested a lot of ideas. I don't think that the development team checks what we write here. This is my personal opinion.
@t-altenbuchner_366881881522326 Does this happen when the smartphone is on WIFI and mobile? Did you connect to the camera using the Windows Client?
@latez1_702748087968371 I am a customer like you and if I had to design it then I would certainly ping the gateway as most devices do.
That feature has been requested by a number of customers who purchased the RLC-823A 16X model. Unfortunately this model cannot zoom and focus on detection. With a single lens this requires additional stepper motors to move the varifocal lens to zoom and focus. This can only be achieved through their TrackMix model which has a distinct Telephoto lens.
@simontondavid678_532943946707150 Take note of their UID from the info menu. From the application delete and add them again.
