@user_596820849422406_596820849422406 So you haven't set it up yet? Ensure LED is flashing every say 10s which indicates that WIFI is ok. If it was working you can add it by using its UID. It's on the label..9527000.......
@mcrae First check that you have the recent firmware. Just visit the Reolink Download Center. If the fw on the site is newer then download it and upgrade the camera. Moreover if you have the alarm delay, add 1 or 2 sec for person. This appears under alarm settings.
@digitalhorizons_515951171416209 Install DirectX 9 and try again.
@scott-leckie_478144730235105 I did download some mp4 files from different cameras and the Windows details give the exact duration. From which camera you are downloading the file? Can you download the file in low resolution and check the duration? Are you sure that the 12MB file is in high resolution?
@scott-leckie_478144730235105 It could be that your Windows is not recognising the codec H.265. Try with VLC too.
@defcon_274148371144872 You're welcome. The programmers used the D3D9 libraries. This is what I did too and solved the issue.
@grantwey_679968628187658 You need to add additional DirectX libraries. This client uses DirectX dll which are not included in version 12. Either you add it yourself or email Reolink support to send you the tool to do it.
@gnesper Rich push notification is only available on WIFI doorbell and Keen Ranger PT. Note that you need to have a cloud subscription.
@gilly_318311337443524 Either install DirectX which contains older libraries than in 12 or else email support and they will provide you with the tool to do it.
@schanen-lyons_552815606821084 Go to Reolink download center and check it there (951 seems the last stable fw). Otherwise email Reolink Support. There is an unofficial firmware archive at https://[censored]/AT0myks/reolink-fw-archive
@stevesherrill_297456686461174 Scroll down and you should find a link to 8.8.5 in one of my replies. Are you using Win 32bit or 64 bit. The v8.11.0 is meant for 64bit OS. Moreover if you have 64bit OS try to disable hardware acceleration from appl menu. If this doesn't solve the issue then you need to install additional Directx libraries (D3D9...). These can be provided by Reolink Support. Email them.
@joseph_1979 I just found a damaged SD and confirm what I stated that the timestamp in the file stored on the SD is in UTC format. I am 1 hour ahead of UTC (GMT). This is Linux which is designed to use UTC for its timing functions. I think they are using Linux Kernel 4.19......
@jarojanisz75_228286160830599 Maybe it failed to reboot. Can someone on-site power off/on the NVR?
@philking_637540975206460 Is it possible to check whether the cameras are on 3G (HSPA) or 4G? And at the camera position, can you do a speed test and check the upload speed? The same applies on your smartphone. Can you install the Reolink Windows client and try it too?
@bamainark_709557840093322 According to what you wrote, it seems that the device is suffering from high temperature and is impacting its behaviour. Can you please remove it and place it inside and do some tests? Just for verification only. Maybe the heatsink is not enough to dissipate heat.It could be that the doorbell cam even stops working at all. How about streaming to VLC and see if it's stops?
@bjørn-p-brox_227471431872746 I suggest you to email Reolink support. I cannot help as I do not use NVR.
@bk Correct. Customers are looking for more ColorX true night vision cameras. They are amazing. @fiona Any updated roadmap please?
@sylwek_679586630619840 I have the E1 OD Pro WIFI and the autofocus works fine. The only issue I have concerns deviation in the guard position (sometimes > 180 degrees). In this respect I saw improvement wrt the first generation E1 OD.
@reolink-fiona Installed and now the selected alerting tone is used. Thanks.
@jedi2020_32727772450952 I think so as otherwise we would have seen a number of complaints. He should check it out through the Windows client.
