@sibedad I am a customer like you and answered you based on my engineering skills.
@mrspock75_889662031028381 I can understand you. I am quite conversant with Mobile networks. Anyhow as suggested submit your request to support for consideration. For sure the programmers are not aware of this and I have never came across any cam supplier implementing this.
@pierre_185702440898690 try to untag any motion.
@grod777_275772032561320 opt for their NVR.
@reolink-oskar Thanks a lot. Will ask support to push it to my camera profile.
@user_675597067345998_675597067345998 better to opt for an NVR whereby you can have 24x7 recordings. Note that cloud storage is not available to all cameras and short clips are stored.
@reolink-cam_813700743893181 Kindly submit your request to support on support @ reolink . com. The more requests they receive the higher the probability of seeing it implemented.
@bobby-mcleish_277085180104878 I suggest you to opt for POE cameras and connect them through a POE rather directly to the NVR. The new NVR has a hybrid POE but we prefer an independent POE switch. Never buy a whole system as you might not be able to use the camera remotely in the event of a failure of the NVR. It should have a UID identifier which allows the camera to be accessed from remote locations. Reolink cameras do not require any subscription. Normally we store the videos on the internal SD which is based on event trigger and 24x7 on NVR. Before embarking on a system I would buy one camera, run it for a few weeks and then decide. Which camera to opt for depends on your particular requirements. Can you please post this at Reddit Reolink? We will provide more information. Please provide your requirements so we will provide the best suggestions.
@captgadget_901354883707109 Try to use the ftp camera event on the Meteobridge to download a picture from an ftp server. On the camera enable ftp and upload an image at say 30s interval to this ftp server with a particular filename in a particular directory. You may opt to overwrite the file so that filename shall remain unchanged. Note that in Meteobridge you can define the time part of the filename using the notations used in C function strftime. As an ftp server you can use Filezilla or Cerberus. Both are freeware for personal use.
@reolink-oskar Well we need to have battery cameras with longer PIR range detection. Perhaps one can opt to use microwave technology to have longer range detection. We noted that the PIR installed on Argus 4 Pro seems to have a longer range than the Argus 3 Ultra. For scenarios where there is a background light, the CX is the best camera to have.
@reolink-oskar Hopefully one day will get the proper calling feature on the Android client. We wish to see more features implemented. As for privacy mode one can check this link https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/37046076925209-Introduction-to-Reolink-Privacy-Mode/@Oskar I cannot find the power option for the battery doorbell. On which fw this feature is available pls?
@sibedad This supports WIFI 4, 5, 6 and 6E respectively. So you should have no issue to connect any of the Reolink cameras to your router. Ensure that your configuration is correct and there is no firewall. We already told you so in Reddit Reolink.
@pierre_185702440898690 Can you enable the motion mark from Detection Alarm menu and watch some video in high resolution to see what is causing the alarms? Moreover we normally untag the 'any motion' or 'other' in recording and push/email notifications. We just set detection based on person, vehicle and pet.
@mrspock75_889662031028381 I don't have the home hub yet and so cannot give a definite answer to your questions. However, you can post this on Reddit Reolink where there are lots of customers using the home hub and will certainly answer you.
@chopstix_887064913674433 you must either enable helper-addresses or UDP forwarding via spanning tree to get the broadcast propagated.
@grod777_275772032561320 It is a base and you can tailor it to your requirements. Their client is not meant to record for 24x7 but rather to configure and have a quick look. For 24x7 you need an NVR or 3rd party application. I suggest you to submit your request to support on support @ reolink . I am a customer like you.
@mrspock75_889662031028381 Why don't you ask your mobile operator to forward the sms to your other MSISDN. Some operators offer sms to email conversion. So apart from the sms you receive an email.I suggest you to submit your request to support on support @ reolink . Com
@sibedad I have several cams from Reolink and never had any major issue. Wherever possible avoid battery cams. But it is better than nothing.
@vodkan_410792752525441 If the PIR is disabled then it shouldn't record or send push motification. This is what I have on all my Argus 3 and Argus 4 cams.
@chopstix_887064913674433 So if the client is on 172.20.1.x/24 then the dynamic broadcast shall be 172.20.1.255 and you need to program the router to broadcast it through other subnets. Normally this is not done and so the client won't receive the packet with payload aaaa0000, UID, IP, etc. Then it will do a DNS query for P2PX servers etc....as I described in the para I have mentioned in my previous correspondence.Wireshark is quite good. Protocols are fun especially when there are issue in a network where a number of protocols are involved, Telecom, networking and IMS. I am a senior technical Architect handling such networks and in my free time a programmer using C++. Have good knowledge of SQP (using Oracle, sybase, etc), python, Assembly language, etc ......
