@user_607915751550993_607915751550993 Can you try the client 8.10beta and deactivate hardware decoding first?
@user_640862378033269_640862378033269 Well Argus 3 Pro is battery operated and can be kept in constant charge through a solar panel. Note that all battery operated cameras start to record upon detecting motion and thence there is no pre-recordings. If you want this pre-recording then you should purchase DC powered cameras. And if viewing angle is an important pre-requisite then look no further but the DUO 2 WIFI. It provides a FOV of 170 degrees. Have a look at https://reolink.com/product/reolink-duo-wifi/?gclid=CjwKCAiAy_CcBhBeEiwAcoMRHOJ8PULWGtNYLkcu73kVekWuRKpwzHXa51IXTo3t5VB4jBbbIs-enBoCZsAQAvD_BwE
@bp787_46270538891 Same for 8.10beta if you want to test it out.
@harrylane3_531242661216426 Correct. Rich message notification requires access to the cloud account.
@hammy_634178119438349 Your cams use PIR for motion detection and I think the max range is around 15m (if sensitivity is set over 85). So ensure that the object is within the PIR range. Moreover PIR is more sensitive to side-to-side movement than movement heading straight toward the camera.
@md Cables should be enclosed in a waterproof junction box conforming to IP66 or better. Sometimes even if you write it in BOLD or different colour they won't follow.
@user_640589945716798_640589945716798 But this is an end to end protocol. So you store the files at the provider's ftp servers. You can transfer the files on your home PC which will be running Cerberus ftp server application. Maybe the free version has the limit on the number of concurrent sessions. But I use Cerberus without issue using FTP and SFTP. Hopefully Reolink will replace FTPS with SFTP which is more commonly used.
@user_640575275909212_640575275909212 Yours answers can be found in the following url https://m.reolink.com/product/reolink-go-plus/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIn6TSy9D8-wIVldJ3Ch3g8AYUEAAYAiAAEgIjP_D_BwE

@user_640589945716798_640589945716798 Kindly note that Reolink cameras support FTP and FTPS. SFTP is not supported. You can use Cerberus FTP server for file transfer using FTPS.
@user_617650665832448_617650665832448 Under Push and Email (if used) untag any motion. Just detect person, vehicle and pet. And if there are false alarms on person use the alarm delay under alarm settings.
@reolink-fiona Would say that with the TrackMix models Reolink has continued to churn out truly innovative security camera products customers have been waiting for. Thumb Up Reolink.
@sidewayswalking_374465193087231 just create a bottle and install Windows Client and voila' as an interim solution. But hopefully one day we will get the Linux version too.
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Update: the audio issue I outlined hereunder has been sorted out in the next release of the Android client. They added the volume control.
@lynnelko88_536587443753194 If it is installed go to setting, applications and find reolink. Click on it and click on storage. Click on clear data and clear cache. Go back and uninstall reolink client. Then install it again and check whether there is any request for password. Of course you have to start from scratch as you need to add cams again. But it is not a big deal unless you have tens of cameras.
@salamanteri_635967195598951 According to its specs, only auto tracking is available. And it seems that cloud storage is only supported on the TrackMix battery operated camera model. Maybe Fiona can provide the reason why this is not available on the other TrackMix models.
@info_526910647251162 Yes, this is missing together with the capability of using the existing chime. It should provide a loop for the existing chime to sound.
@user_639574029807723_639574029807723 Argus 2...is a WIFI battery operated cam and so no need of POE. POE stands for power over Ethernet...a cable which runs between a switch or a router to an ethernet port of the camera side and provides power and allows data to flow in both directions. Argus 2 works only on 2.4G WIFI band so ensure you select the SSID belonging to 2.4G.
@user_639574029807723_639574029807723 Definitely there are lots of users who have connected Reolink cams to Starlink. If your cam is POE then you need the optional adapter.
@adsdslandicas_607820684710066 With that requirements there is only one option............have a chair, a bottle of fine wine and watch out. Joking. So if there is no power then you need a camera charged through a solar panel. Reolink offered a range of battery operated cameras all of which can be charged through a solar panel (around 30 bucks). But battery operated cameras cannot operate continuously but are activated when an event is detected (vehicle, person, pet or any motion). This, of course, impose a limit on the detection range provided by the PIR. It's around 33 feet (10m). Again all the cameras support SD with capacity up to 256GB. If the camera is not triggered often this means months of storage. Now comes the issue for you. You can configure it at home where you have Internet and check that camera is recording, etc. After you install it on-site how can you ensure that it is working correctly since you have no WIFI and you don't want to have mobile connectivity. Even so if it is recording then you need to pull out the SD card and have a PC to view the recorded videos. This is really impractical. You definitely need a camera with SIM and Reolink have them. Now you need to weigh whether to spend a few bucks to get a data SIM or someone stolen your cows and you get notice the next day you visit your farm :).
