@user_812059413459103_812059413459103 I have the Argus 3 Pro connected to a solar panel and using the Reolink extension cable. The extension cable has rubber protections at both ends. However, when connecting the extension to the solar panel end it is recommended to use amalgamated tape around the connection. I have this setup for 2 years now and never had any issue. Moreover please check the connector type on solar and camera. On mine they are micro USB and not type C. Type C is only available on the Argus 3 ultra.According to specs it is still micro USB.https://m.reolink.com/product/argus-3-pro/?gad_source=1#specifications
@user_813255349637347_813255349637347 I suggest you to download a clip in clear mode and email it to support on support(@)reolink(dot)comTry to add 1s delay for vehicle.
@user_813266447470777_813266447470777 The context was on scene mode and no nvr was involved.
@user_812889347916005_812889347916005 Rarely there is an upgrade on battery operated cameras. These can only be upgraded if Reolink Support push you the upgrade based on the camera UID.
@user_798371383681275_798371383681275 Detection depends on PIR which at the highest sensitivity has a max range of around 30 feet. This is when object is perpendicular to the PIR (camera) and is moving along which crosses the paths. Of course if you are watching a live view the Detection algorithm is analysing the objects and if human is detected then its icon will be displayed.
@user_812962223550692_812962223550692 I suggest you to contact reolink on support(@)reolink(dot)com
@ml_812798949916887 At the top left hand there are three lines. Click on them. The appl main menu appears. Click on Adjust Device Order and drag devices according to your taste.
@ml_812798949916887 Just change the credentials and nobody will log other than you.
@joseph_1979 oops Windows Chrome........... then you don't have the https/http enabled on the cameras. Use Win Reolink client and go to networks/advanced/server settings and enable them.
@user_812858598310079_812858598310079 I have been using the client v8.15.6 for quite some time and have none of the issues you have mentioned. It won't take more than 3s to get to the live view of both local and remote cams (directly).Versions 8.1X.Y are 64bit clients. Try to uninstall both (32bit and 64 bit) and re-install the 64bit. Then add the cameras.
@reolinkshayla Only customers within the US and CA can call free this freephone number. Anyone else will incur charges as Telcos will consider this as an international call. Therefore you may opt to have a UIFN which shall be free from all countries or else let callers use whatsapp or a similar platform.
@user_701193304785035_701193304785035 I don't have this cam. Can you take it up with support on support(@)reolink(dot)com
@john_448170878103796 Not found. Check this out https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/900000593463-How-to-Hard-Reset-Device-by-Pressing-the-Reset-Button/
@webarmen1_133349461975209 No static IP. It does an DHCP request on initialization and if you allow the camera to access the Internet then it will forward the private and public IP to the P2P servers. Here you can refrain the camera from accessing the Internet and you still be able to connect to the camera using the Android client. This will no longer hold if the cam IP will change.
@user_746623229407444_746623229407444 I do have the E1 OD Pro and Trackmix and able to zoom in and out on client v8.15.6. I am connected directly to the cams, i.e. No NVR.
@alex_212048909770953 Agreed. I always suggest members to have a switch in between the NVR and the camera so that one can have direct access to the cameras for a number of reasons. I assume that you have the most updated fw on both cams and NVR.
@alex_212048909770953 Go to light and switch off spot light. And for colour night vision, adjust the black/white and colour switching threshold.
@landy_767951208620204 Check out this link https://cloud.reolink.com/According to the site, only the following cams can be bound to the cloud. All Battery-Powered Cameras (incl. Argus Series, Go Series, Dual-Lens Battery Cameras, and Keen Ranger PT), E1 Series, and Reolink Lumus.
@rich_333749703733435 Settings are on the cameras and not saved within the application. Just add the cameras using their UID and credentials.
@sebi53990_517790820438197 Is it due to 4G coverage? If 3G (HSPA+ only....as HSPA doesn't provide the required upload speed) is more strong then you may ask support to provide you with a firmware which shall lock to 3G. I know that they did it to a customer.
