I think this other topic could/might be related.https://community.reolink.com/topic/1039/excessive-cpu-usage-in-the-android-app/1
I agree. I'm having the same issue. I wouldn't call it shaky. I would call it lagging. Video used to be smooth at al resolutions. Now it lags and is no longer smooth at higher resolutions.Yes, I tried it with hardware decoding on and off and it's the same.
@big_ted Thank you very much. Looks like there is a link in the announcements section too.
Awesome. Thank you very much for providing the direct link for those of us that do not use Google. Very much appreciated.
@big_ted I have used that site in the past and I have never had a problem. But when it comes to security software I act a little differently. I prefer to get my security software directly from the manufacturer only. That's one of the reasons that I don't like downloading it from Google also. I'll wait until Reolink updates their website download.I appreciate the help though. Thank you.
@reocam_448003255267488 The mount is back in stock and I ordered a few of them. Just wanted to post in case anyone else needs them too.
@sasuke Thank you
@breit2001_513813039153374 I'm running in on an NVR. It's in the settings there where I see it.
I have a RLK16-810B8-a system which came with the 810A cameras. I am going to add another camera to the system and I'm wondering is there any difference between the stick style 810 as opposed to the ball turret style 820 other than the mount? As you can read from one of my other posts I had a mount failure on only 1 out of my 8 cameras but still that makes me a little hesitant to buy another one with the same kind of mount. I'm wondering if the ball style mount is better? So other than the mount are they the same? Is the ball mount better/stronger? Anyone here have both? Can I add the 820 to my system with no problems?
@big_ted Thank you. Hopefully they'll update the website or post a new link to the new version here again (please )
So I updated the firmware on my cameras (RLK16-810B8-A) RLC-810A cameras and I noticed a setting that I hadn't noticed before. It might have been there but I think it was added. Anyway I don't know what it does and I could not fid an explanation anywhere. It's under Camera->Display->Imafe Settings->Advanced and it's called "Spotlight Mode".Can anyone educate me on this setting please?Thank you
Any chance these replacement mounts will get back in stock any time soon? I have a perfectly good camera that I can't use because the mount is stripped. Actually it's just the silver ball that handles the up/down. The left/right still locks fine.
Crap! Looks like it's out of stock anyway.
That bracket fits, but you have to cut a cable to replace it. At least I had to do that in 510A.
That would really stink if I have to cut a cable to repair the mount. That would seem to be really difficult and not worth them selling it. Could it be easier for my camera?
@reocam_448003255267488 Do you mean this bracket mount? https://store.reolink.com/accessories/?product=rlc-810a
Yes, that's it! Once again Fiona, you did it. How did I not see that. Thank you!
I have a NVR system that came with 8 of the PLC-810A cameras but one of them I guess I over tightened and messed it up a bit. So now no matter how much I tighten it the camera sags a bit. I was looking on the site to see if I can buy a replacement mount but it doesn't look like that is available to buy.So my question is ... can I fix this mount so it is solid again? If not then is it possible to buy a new mount and replace the damaged one? Or is this camera garbage now? It's a shame because the camera is fine. It's just the ball and socket that is damaged.
@reolink-fiona Sorry it took me so long to get back. I will download it. Thank you very much again You're always helpful and it is very much apreciated.
@reocam_448003255267488 You can download the APP v4.28.0.8 here.https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pN1KyjgK7pQFZ2c8NQzxC0xSfYgGx-oc/view?usp=sharingWe will update the version on download center soon.
Thank you, but the link on your website already goes to 4.28. I was looking for the newer version 4.30. Hopefully the website will be updated soon.Thank you.I don't have a Gplay account. I don't use Gplay at all as I don't need it. I only use a very few apps and I prefer to update them manually myself.
I always download the android app directlyu fromt the Reolink website, but, as usual, it is not up to date. Can someone from Reolink please post a link to the latest verion? The website shows 4.28.0.8 but according to Gplay the current version is 4.30.1.1 from June 10th.
Once again it looks like the website apk download is an older version than that available on google play store. For those of us that do not/cannot use the google play store can the website apk download please be updated tot he latest version?
