@joseph_1979 Thank you but, as I said, I don't use the play store. There are quite a few of us here that don't use the play store. We prefer to use apk directly from manufacturer. You have an apk available for download on your website, it's just old and out of date. You have always posted apk before. Has something changed? It would be greatly appreciated.
APK is not available on your website yet. Can you please post a link here or update the website apk for those of us that don't use google play? It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
@joseph_1979 Here is the link to download the APK file of Android app.https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dMFXoNTRIXAX_ErhoxX_ZHg2U_gaX6E1/view?usp=sharing
Thank you. Lot's of us needs the link so very much appreciated.
Just in case anyone else has the same problem, I finally had the time to fix the broken mount on my camera. I bought a new mount as I stated above as they were back in stock. You do not have to cut the wire to do this repair. I took the camera apart and unplugged the wire from the inside. You can then slip the end out of the exisiting mount and slide the complete new mount on. It's not easy and you have to be meticulous, but is is possible to do without cutting the cable(s).
@reolink-fiona Thanks very much for your reply. So, just so I'm clear, I can view the live feed from the camera on the client or app (and I suspect the browser interface also?) but the NVR will not be able to record it to the NVR. Have I got that right? If I want to record the feed from the camera it can only be done with an SD card in the camera itself, correct?
I have an RLK16-810B8-A. I have a gate that I would like to put a camera to monitor. It's difficult to run an Ethernet cable to it and it has no power either. So I thought that maybe I could put a battery/solar camera out there like the Argus with a solar panel, but my questions is ... if I do that can I add that camera to my NVR? I would like the NVR to record that feed from that camera and have it show up in my list just like all my IP cameras? Is that possible or is the Argus just a stand alone camera? Or is my NVR unable to add a wi-fi camera?
New version (4.34.0.5) appears to fix this problem.Thank you
I just updated the firmware on my NVR and the android app on my phone so I'm not sure which one broke this functionality but, when I enable/disable email alerts in the app it does not work. Here's what happens:If I am logged into the NVR directly I can enable/disable email alerts and it works correctly. But if I use the android app I can turn off email alerts and it turns it off on the NVR as well. But if I turn it back on (enable) it shows enabled (on) on the android app but if I log in to the NVR it is still off (disabled).I have tested and found that indeed it is off. It does not send alerts. But if I enable it directly from the NVR then it does work.So apparently the android app is not working to turn email back on.
@curls I appreciate your reply but I don't think that it pertains to the issue. When I experience this issue I am only looking at one screen at a time. I am not looking at multiple screens such as in "immersive" mode. I believe channel selection only pertains to immersive mode. If I uncheck all cameras but one then you basically disable immersive mode.I kind of expect it to be a bit choppy in immersive mode since you are looking at multiple streams at once, But when you are looking at only one screen it should be fluid. And it used to be fluid in the older version of the android app so they must have changed something that made it worse.
I think this other topic could/might be related.https://community.reolink.com/topic/1039/excessive-cpu-usage-in-the-android-app/1
I agree. I'm having the same issue. I wouldn't call it shaky. I would call it lagging. Video used to be smooth at al resolutions. Now it lags and is no longer smooth at higher resolutions.Yes, I tried it with hardware decoding on and off and it's the same.
@big_ted Thank you very much. Looks like there is a link in the announcements section too.
Awesome. Thank you very much for providing the direct link for those of us that do not use Google. Very much appreciated.
@big_ted I have used that site in the past and I have never had a problem. But when it comes to security software I act a little differently. I prefer to get my security software directly from the manufacturer only. That's one of the reasons that I don't like downloading it from Google also. I'll wait until Reolink updates their website download.I appreciate the help though. Thank you.
@reocam_448003255267488 The mount is back in stock and I ordered a few of them. Just wanted to post in case anyone else needs them too.
@sasuke Thank you
@breit2001_513813039153374 I'm running in on an NVR. It's in the settings there where I see it.
I have a RLK16-810B8-a system which came with the 810A cameras. I am going to add another camera to the system and I'm wondering is there any difference between the stick style 810 as opposed to the ball turret style 820 other than the mount? As you can read from one of my other posts I had a mount failure on only 1 out of my 8 cameras but still that makes me a little hesitant to buy another one with the same kind of mount. I'm wondering if the ball style mount is better? So other than the mount are they the same? Is the ball mount better/stronger? Anyone here have both? Can I add the 820 to my system with no problems?
@big_ted Thank you. Hopefully they'll update the website or post a new link to the new version here again (please )
