      Hi all, 😊

      The new APP v4.36 has been released. You could download the new APP via the Google play store/Apple APP Store.

      Note: The APP adopts a grayscale release strategy so that the update time will differ in different regions. Simply meaning that it takes some time to arrive in your app store.

      What’s New:

      1. New product adaptation for the Reolink Fisheye camera series.

      2. Modified live view window ratio to 1:1.

      3. Fixed other known bugs.

          @reolink-fiona Thanks Fiona. Installed and will do some tests on the test Smartphone. Live view much better but no changes for Argus 3 pro and Duo 2. Stretch mode removed and this means that we don't get the full screen view. I would have left this option.

          It is highly appreciated to inform us what other known bugs have been sorted out. This allows us to rigorously test them. Thanks.

          Update 18/03/23 ---- So far no issues on Samung S10, S10+ and S21.

            @reolink-fiona window live view 1:1 is perfect on rlc520a. I can finally see a big picture on a 4:3 camera 😀

              @joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Thanks for the test. We make windows 1:1 ratio so the stretch mode is removed. We will add a 'double-click to expand" function in v4.37. Stay tuned!

                    @reolink-fiona Hi Fiona menu image strech disappeared and also you can't choose the kind of the sound of push notifications as was possible in the version before this. You go directly to choose sound of the telephone but you don't find list of ReoLink application sounds, but other sounds. I use a Samsung s20 ultra 5g. Thanks. Kindly Regards

                            @reolink-fiona So far I didn't encounter any issue on the Android client other than the wish to have back the stretch mode. This seems to be the request of many many customers.

                              We have released the NVR firmware with N5MB01, N6MB01, and N7MB01. You can find them on the download center now. For the NVR with hardware versions H3MB18, N3MB01, and N2MB02, the firmware will be available in these two weeks.

                                @reolink-fiona I agree with the many other posts here. 1:1 without stretch mode is horrible. I have a Pixel 7 and my wife has an iPhone and the app is way worse after this update on both phones. Bring back stretch mode please!

                                      Running well so far on samsung s21 ultra.
                                      I like the addition of being able to swipe between cameras and the doorbell. Makes things easier. Good to see requested features making it through development and release 🙂

                                        App version 4.36.0 has broken fluent live streaming on the Reolink Lumus on iPhone. There are now green lines throughout the entire stream. This only impacts fluent, and clear works without issue. Another user on 4.35.0 confirms this does not happen and it works fine on the macOS client also.

                                            hi @Reolink-Fiona i have 13 reolink 5 and 8 mp cameras. i have been very pleased with your ios app sor. it was practical and useful. but new ios 4.36 version, the ratio of screens become ridiculous. please return from this mistake. the viewing frame screens become un symetrical. i am posting the previous and next screenshots . please restore the screen frame ratio to its former state. or help me how to get back to the old version ios 4.35 . thank you.

                                                  @reolink-fiona Yes, the 1:1 ratio is horrible. As @mmtozel_445784554274974 says, the image does not fill the screen anymore. Why did they do this? Please put it back to how it used to be.

                                                  Hello. With the latest update on iOS, when the iPhone ringer physical switch is set to vibrate mode, the sound on cameras cannot be heard. You have to enable the physical ringer switch to hear camera sound.

                                                        With the iOS update 4.36 the menu icons in live view do not remain onscreen; have to touch the screen to bring them back.

                                                                On iOS app on both iPad and Iphone the digital zooming with two fingers doesn’t zoom to the place you want like before. It always zooms to the centre of the image and you have to slide the view to the place you wanted to zoom. This is really anoying, please fix it. Also E1 camera is showing green stripes in substream, main stream is OK.

                                                                            After the update, a new problematic application 4.36.0.4 is installed, while the old 4.35.1 remains fully operational and these are 2 independent applications with different signatures in the system - the old com.mcu.reolink, the new one com.reolink.ru .
                                                                            Please write to what purpose is this done?
                                                                            The new 4.36.0.4 is clearly raw - from the bugs noticed:
                                                                            PUSH notifications are not activated - when they were uploaded to GP, was it not checked at all? 
                                                                            At the same time, the really necessary (customizable) buttons have not been added to the new application, for example, they have already written about the IR backlight button, just as it was done for the searchlight and siren.
                                                                            the picture does not stretch to fit the screen size - it is very inconvenient, or rather terrible! if someone needs a 1:1 picture, make it customizable (stretch to fit the screen size)

                                                                                For the IR backlight, can you tell me what's your camera model? You can also give me some screenshots if possible.

                                                                                      So far I'm digging this new app on IOS. Live view loads ages faster I'll get 5-6 seconds back each time I look at camera. I was also having an issue with the audio clicking in and out when viewing Clear mode on at least my 810A cameras which seems to be fixed now. The TrackMix live view seems to load/sync quite a bit faster now as well. Previously on occasion the wide angle and the zoom view could be a few seconds out of sync but so far I haven't noticed any of that. Working a 16:9 4:3 world every day the 4:3 for 5MP cameras doesn't really bother me. Doesn't distort the picture as much from what I can tell. The pinch to zoom always zooming to the center of the image vs where you are trying to zoom is annoying and should be a simple fix as it worked before. I think there are more things I like about this update than I don't. Good job team.

                                                                                            After the update to version 4.36.0.4.20230313 (572) on Android, the app does not start in the multi view (4 camera's) any more. Sometimes it does start in live view but it always shows one camera. I have a tablet mount in my livingroom and use Fully Kiosk to activate the application and previously it started and showed the multiview immediately if this was the last state it was in. I like to see this behaviour restored. I really like that the doorbell camera is working now, but this is a to big tradeoff to use the new version. Maybe it can be started with a specific action? I couldn't find a specific action in the intentfilters of the apk.

                                                                                              On Android, this update still has the same problem I've had for while — can't connect to my NVR either for live or playback on cellular but works fine on wifi. Even 5G doesn't work, while some random low-quality public wifi is fine.

                                                                                              Hardware decoding setting so doesn't matter. Same problem on my wife's phone and mine. It briefly worked last year, but then some update broken it.
