@user_851769808085125_851769808085125 Check out this link https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/900000605206-Introduction-to-Ethernet-Cable/
@user_694180074676378_694180074676378 It seems an issue specific to your environment. On my 8.10.4 it is working correctly. It's not easy to know why the calendar is not being popped up. Is your java updated? Try to run the client as Administrator. Try to install it again. If still unable to get the calendar then email Reolink support.
@user_782828081017023_782828081017023 On Reddit Reolink community I read that once a battery camera is connected to the hub, one loses the direct connectivity. So all the control of the cameras shall be through the hub. See point 3 in https://www.reddit.com/r/reolinkcam/comments/1e4muu5/home_hub_qa/
@crimp-on_62210811129 I cannot reproduce your screen blinking issue when zooming in/out using the mouse wheel. I tried on Fluent, Balance and Clear. I am running 8.10.4 on Win 10 64bit. Tomorrow I will check my other notebook running Win11.
@user_654306224615431_654306224615431 I did a lot of fw upgrades and so far none of them failed. You may ask support to provide you with an old fw.
@crimp-on_62210811129 I conducted the tests on Argus 3 Pro and DUO 2 at clear resolution and full screen on both Win 10 and 11 and couldn't reproduce the black screens. And I did scroll the mouse wheel as fast as I can. Do you have other applications running in parallel with the client? Do you have adequate video RAM? Can you check whether there are services which have higher priority which are causing interrupts? Can you set the priority of the client to high and check? On a different note but the subject being the 8.10.4, the stream mode setting is being ignored when set from a network outside the LAN on which the cameras are installed. So you set the stream mode as CLEAR on the live and move to the Playback tab..........without selecting any clip and you go back to the previous live window of same camera, the stream mode takes again the default setting which is FLUENT. I checked this on a number of cameras and got the same behaviour. However, if I repeat the same procedure with the notebook connected to the same LAN as the camera then the stream mode settings are correctly set and retrieved (the client use the private IPs of the cameras to communicate). Maybe Reolink introduced this so as to minimise the time it takes to display the live stream. I started to experience this since 8.10.2. I did report this and have been told that this is a design. But I am still pushing for this to change.
@tomsreolink I already told them. It is of utmost important to keep customers informed with the latest developments, fw upgrades, roadmaps with estimated deliver time, etc. And that any client or fw release should be rigorously tested.
@jfbaro_664228245382261 AV1 could be the future of codecs, but older codecs like H.254 and H.256 have their merits as they offer better compatibility and lower encoding time on current hardware.
@md I have already requested all of these with support, here and on Reddit.
@user_702445053329578_702445053329578 Issue can be the ISP bandwidth or the Radio Acceess network bandwidth (mobile which i do not think unless you are on 4G). I think the issue is your upload speed of 24Mbps. That's too low. 8MP camera may peak at 18Mbps. Recall that from camera side the upload bandwidth is important and from your smartphone the download speed. When you have the issue try to measure the UL speed either from pc or smartphone connected to your home network.
@big_ted of course. But they need to improve their clients and add more features customers are requesting. We are seeing new cameras but no features.
@t-saint_696989900566706 If there is no activity within 10s the camera returns to its guard point position. However, this is readily available on the Trackmix models through two parameters, namely, object stops and object disappears timers. Please email support and see if they can apply it on your model.
@manc-sooty_859835089170607 We have been saying this for v1 chimes. They should have produced more chimes than doorbell :).
@davidandrewpowell81_526149738635440 I suggest you to roll back to 8.8.5 on the other pc and wait till they fix it. You are not the only one to encounter this issue. I cannot reproduce and so cannot delve through. I saw some have drag the camera out of the liveview. Others have deleted and added cams. In my opinion when upgrading to 64 bit client they should have done a clean up of the installed client and its data and then proceed with the fresh installation. The 64 bit client is using the same data of the 32 bit client.
@robert_5420 What is the fw of your NVR? Check out this link https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/4410520891033-Which-NVR-Can-Work-with-Reolink-Duo-WiFi-PoE-/?source=search"Please note that if your Duo 2 WiFi/PoE works with an NVR with Hw_H3MB18 Hw_N3MB01, and Hw_N2MB02 hardware, you need to upgrade your NVR's firmware to the latest version to view the video, and it can only support max. 6MP video resolution. The decoding width of Hw_H3MB18 Hw_N3MB01, and Hw_N2MB02 hardware is 4096. Therefore, if you set the mainstream resolution as 4608*1728, the image cannot be displayed on full screen successfully. It is recommended to set the mainstream resolution as 4096*1536."Ensure you have the latest fw on both DUO 2 and NVR. Go to their Reolink Download Center and check them out.
@strangerjona_704168632094884 Last year I did ask for sound detection but seems not yet on their priority list.It seems that the priority list is based on customers request to support. So please send your request on support(at)reolink(dot)com Replace (at) by @ and(dot) by . Sometimes the site restricts us from adding ULR.
@gkl_293453548720263 See if this helps you https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/26862588584089-Introduction-to-Antenna-Extension-Cable/
@jedi2020_32727772450952 IoS I meant MAC.....was in a meeting with my engineers while typing :).
@martin_762542987481297 We are awaiting the roadmap till end of the year.
@nomahisssss_477125106348271 Object tagging which triggered detection is not yet implemented on Reolink. Customers are looking for it.
