@maxuline I did install it for several weeks now and so far no issues. However, I moved it to an area where only persons can be detected. Update: I did have installed an RLC-811WA in the location of the RLC-511WA. RLC-811WA has lower vertical FOV and of course a better definition since it is 8MP. However, I am having some issues with its WIFI stability. When there is a TCP retransmission the audio stops for a few seconds and sometimes the frames freeze. WIFI at this location is absolutely strong with 250Mbps/100Mbps and have other WIFI cameras in the vicinity and they have no similar issues. I told them that why you implement TCP as transport for Video and audio especially when using WIFI. I forwarded them traces indicating where is the issue.
@pernoi_434276731408615 I answered you in the other request you made.
@chopstix You will learn and teach
@reolinkshayla This is fantastic. Keep it up.However, we need to see more cameras emerging with large F1,0 aperture and larger dual CMOS 1/1,8-inch sensor. Forget the F2.0 aperture and 1/2,8-inch sensor. And at 8MP they will be super.
@user_880405136908475_880405136908475 I suggest you to submit your complaint to support on support @ reolink . ComSince you have adjusted the day/night slider and there was no effect then it can be a fw issue
@big_ted Correct. This is NOW.
@crimp-on_62210811129 same here. Support always assisted when requested.
@pierre-gielen_288801745879289 NVR and cams have to be on same subnet.
@pierre-gielen_288801745879289 Try to use pushover
@reolink-oskar There are various scenarios to consider when no WIFI is available.

@chopstix To the best of my knowledge time lapse photos are saved to the SD only. In case of NVR, a time lapse can be exported from a recorded video onto a USB attached to its USB port.In case of Home Hub Pro (HHP), you can enable the time lapse but it is saved on the SD. Once completed one can watch it using the appl. through the HHP.
@pierre-gielen_288801745879289 Definitely sending emails from the camera directly. A lot of members did implement this until Reolink comes with a finite solution :(. FTP just transfer the file to an ftp server. So you need an application to go through the file and detect the object which triggered the detection and send this to your smartphone. For sure it will take much longer. If I recall correctly your application won't start analysing until file transfer has been completed and this implies minutes. So you will definitely stay with pushover.Nothing to lose to experiment with FTP. This is fun........... at least when I do troubleshooting on mega systems it's fun. IMS/Mobile/Fixed/LI/Networking etc
@user_736098558853348_736098558853348 It's unusual. Some people don't insert correctly the c-type plug into the socket on the camera. One has to push a bit. If you encounter the same issue and while still under warranty then I suggest you to email support on support @ reolink.com.
@reolinkshayla Wonderful. When shall we get the doorbell firmware update pls?
@chopstix So far Reolink introduced file encryption on Home Hub, Home Hub Pro, Altas Pt and Altas PT Plus. Reolink stated that it will deploy this encryption to its products (maybe recent releases plus new ones).Unfortunately if WIFI is lost or the HHP is switched off and there are recordings on the cameras SD, the HHP will not synchronised the video clips. User has to delete camera and access it in standalone. There have been a lot of requests from customers to allow them to access the cameras directly and hope they are working on it. Personally this should have been available from the day the HHP has been released.
@user_633508167262216_633508167262216 You're welcome. Enjoy a glass of fine wine.
@chopstix Fully in agreement. And on the HUB they should allow the deletion of clips using the admin account. There is a lot of features which can be added some of which may not require changes at the camera side.
@user_784852006310042_784852006310042 v7 is 32bit client and v8.1x.x is a 64bit client. Of course as upgrades are released, new features are added or improved.
