@reolink-oskar Finally we see the DUO floodlight in 4K. This should be more than welcomed by the customers.
@user_759118822383786_759118822383786 Have a look at https : // www . etsy . com / listing / 1547502962/ reolink-wifi-poe-steel-doorbell-guard Specifically for Reolink doorbell. Please remove the spaces as this site won't allow me to include URL.
@crimp-on_62210811129 I tried to manually download it from their server and got access denied.
@reolink-oskar We need a CX version of the TM having higher fps, higher zooming, higher definition on Telephoto and patrolling. Am I asking a lot?
@reolink-oskar If you implement IFTTT on all your products then it would be easy to invoke other cameras to be triggered and start recording. If you intend to implement this on the NVR or the hub, recall that not all customers have these units. So one has to implement it in a way that it may be used in most scenarios as described. We still lack a lot of features we have requested. Re-introduce smart plugs and standalone spotlight.
@big_ted Not yet available in Europe. In Ozzie, you are on the highest priority :).
@reolink-daisy Excellent. Can you confirm or otherwise whether we can control the camera directly through our Client once the camera has been connected to the Hub Pro? For instance I am away from home and there is a failure on the Hub Pro.
@frederic-fusillier_236807380766857 In case of battery operated cameras, only the PIR circuit is drawing current while the application is in cold state. So whenever the PIR detects an objects it runs the the application which analyses the object. Therefore from the time it detects movement to the instant it start recording, a few seconds elapse and so you may miss the first part. There are times that if the object get out of the field quickly, the camera won't capture it and then you will wonder what has triggered it. I have the DUO 2 WIFI battery operated camera and I placed it on the roof where the activities are rather minimal. To capture a few seconds before the camera has been triggered then you need a dc/poe powered camera which is constantly capturing. Their detection is based on pixel change rather than PIR and have longer range.
@big_ted thanks a lot. There is the zero now :).
@user_678736611209466_678736611209466 Most probably there is no solution for the correct measurement of the signal strength. So either full bars or just one bar.
@sibedad I don't have this model and so I cannot comment. I suggest you to email support on support @ reolink . com or come to the Reddit community where you will definitely find customers who have this model.
@doug_287588879077543 Just use the scroll wheel on the mouse and you can zoom in and out. You can download a previous version using the following.https://home-cdn.reolink.us/files/client/electron-release/reolink_setup_8.16.8_0.exehttps://home-cdn.reolink.us/files/client/electron-release/reolink_setup_8.15.7.exehttps://home-cdn.reolink.us/files/client/electron-release/reolink_setup_8.15.6.exehttps://home-cdn.reolink.us/files/client/electron-release/reolink_setup_8.14.2.exeWhen using the Windows client from an external network, the stream always default to FLUENT when you open any camera live view. This is because they are using 3rd party service (Azure/AWS) to forward the media from the camera to the client. The bandwidth is not infinite.Note that we have requested support several times to leave the stream setting as set by the user even when using the client on an external network. You may email support on support @ reolink . com and endorse your request.
@iulian-tatarcan_132045030453418 I did ask Reolink for this too. It should be transparent to customers. Didn't get any feedback.
@tom_53156095549 Uh 7 years ago. At that time there was no Alexia :). Well I have been asking for IFTTT, matter and MQTT since then and still none of these has been implemented. It seems that these are not in their priority list.
@cameras_155496755454086 I did install it on both Win 10 and Win 11 and had no issue.
@reolink-oskar Thanks Reolink Team for the products you have released during 2024 and for making our properties more safer than before at a moderate pricing. Appreciate that we provide constructive criticism with the objective to make you better every year. Hear your esteem customers what they have to say and what they suggest. Hoping that 2025 will be more successful and that the firmware and clients will be more stable. In addition we recommend you to perform more intensive testing and assign more resources to software development. It is also important to have synchronicity across all development teams.
@chopstix_887064913674433 Ask the admin :). Even me sometimes had to re-type as I got error after clicking submit. They did this limit to avoid scams.
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 Well, I upgraded from v8.15.7 to v8.16.8 and didn't get any issue.
@reolink-oskar It's nice but I still say that the vertical FOV of 55 degrees is rather low. In actual fact it may be less than this value. My personal opinion.I presume that the reset button is included on the camera and not part of the cables.
@chopstix_887064913674433 You seem to be knowledgeable about their products and if I am Reolink Admin I will certainly ask you to be a moderator to assist customers. However, I am just a customer as you and have no authority. And I do not have so much free time as I am very busy with mega IMS projects.
