@user_766423686758602_766423686758602 Can you connect to your network over VPN? You need to be on the local network and use webui, assuming you have either http or https enabled. Maybe you have someone who can connect his PC to your home network, do a remote login on his pc and then install the Reolink client or use webui,
@ddelrosso_61389620748490 I have the WIFI DUO 2 and this is set to event recording. The maximum recorded video per event is 5 min on the SD. If the object is still within the FOV, another file is opened.I only use sd, ftp and HA. Do you set the video file length on NVR?https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/900000640023-What-is-the-Record-Length-on-Reolink-Client/#:~:text=on%20Reolink%20Client-,The%20Record%20Length%20on%20Reolink%20Client,set%20to%205~60%20minutes.&text=Go%20to%20Client%20Setting%20%3E%20Local,change%20the%20Video%20File%20Duration.
@mzumwalt1_471118459977909 The simplest method is to replace the SSID and password on the router side with the previous ones. If, however, the cameras are within reach then change the SSID and password of the hotspot on your smartphone to correspond to the old ones. Then move smartphone near camera and use the appl to access cam. Then connect cam to new WIFI SSID. If you forgot the password of the previous WIFI network then you need to reset cams.
@chopstix Thanks. Exactly this is not the immersive view but rather the dual view or separated view. When the icon shows one dark box then you shall see both the widescreen and the telephoto views on the same screen. Conversely, when the the icon shows two boxes then the widescreen and the telephoto views are on different screens. Just wipe back and forth to get the two views.
@flashmagnum_909351053578484 I suggest you to submit your request to support on support @ reolink . com. We are customers like you assisting members wherever possible based on our skills and experience.Note that when I see them separately, it is the same as the RLC-811WA, E1 OD Pro, Argus 3 Ultra, etc.
@travasaurus_893442009145504 This is so on all clients (Android/Windows.. don't use IOS/MAC) for all dual lens 180 degrees wide cameras. DUO 2, 3 and Argus 4 Pro.
@davideotto Yes, I understand. In the Home Hub Pro this is solved. I suggest you to open a ticket with support.
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 Like it or not, we have to adapt. Sometimes we have to let it go as it is totally useless and in addition it will be detrimental to our health.
@marius_ss_846431955587247 First of all I am not an employee of Reolink but rather a customer like you. I use a timeslot of my free time to provide support to members wherever possible. My support is based on my technical knowledge and usage of the some cameras.
@kimchigun I have been telling them for ages now. Their software is really behind their competitors. Both in features and robustness. Even the support needs improvement. It is not about quantity but quality. Better having fewer models with super enriched features and being rock stable.
@chopstix Hide your UID. I deleted the photo.
@chopstix Np. If the camera is connected through the HHP then there is no way to access it using the UID. But when you remove it from the HHP they can reach it. However, Reolink are working on having the possibility to access the cameras directly even though they are connected to the HHP. This is the same in case the camera is connected directly to the NVR. If, however, it is connected through a switch then it can be reached too.
@celina_867750978158811 Try with port = 465 (implicit TLS/SSL). Maybe Reolink cams won't send the STARTTLS. I am not home and so I cannot confirm this.
@chopstix you're welcome. We are here to learn and teach...
@160334357029011 Correct. In Multi-view they have removed the clear mode. They just left Fluent or Balance. I have requested support to provide the clear screen but had no feedback.
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 We, European, have different mentality and we seek professionalism in what we do. We consider criticism as a way to change direction and improve.
@das-dos_208145718501556 According the API v8 the following parameters are mandatory in command SetEnc.And so the curl command should be as follows.curl -s -k -X POST -H "Content-Type : application/json" -d "[{\"cmd": \"SetEnc\",\"action\": 0,\"param\": {\"Enc\": {\"channel\": 0,\"audio\": 1,\"mainStream\": {\"size\": \"2560*1920\",\"frameRate\": 20,\"bitRate\": 4096,\"profile\": \"High\"},\"subStream\": {\"size\": \"640*480\",\"frameRate\": 10,\"bitRate\": 256,\"profile\": \"High\"}}}" "https://#IP#/cgi-bin/api.cgi?cmd=SetEnc&user=#username#&password=#passwd#"Please replace the IP with the cam IP and the username and passwd with your credentials.And if it doesn't reboot you can reboot it usingcurl -s -k -X POST -H "Content-Type : application/json" -d "[{\"cmd\":\"Reboot\",\"action\":0,\"param\":{}}]" "https://#IP#/cgi-bin/api.cgi?cmd=Reboot&user=#username#&password=#passwd#"
@wisemanjaw Agree. We have been telling them to have the application check the fw of the connected cameras and if a new one is available it shall prompt the user. I don't know the reason why this has not been implemented from day 1. This is readily available on competitors application.
@rol_640066282610764 The only way to add a camera to a Reolink NVR is at the NVR console. You need to connect a monitor and a mouse to the NVR and add it there. You can't add cameras in the app or web UI.And make sure you have the recent fw on both the NVR and doorbell. Go to Reollnk Download Center and check them out.
@big_ted I just ignore. Unfortunately this is the world TODAY.
