@pierre-gielen_288801745879289 NVR and cams have to be on same subnet.
@reolink-cam_813700743893181 Kindly submit your request to support on support @ reolink . com. The more requests they receive the higher the probability of seeing it implemented.
@reolink-oskar There are various scenarios to consider when no WIFI is available.
@reolink-oskar Hopefully one day will get the proper calling feature on the Android client. We wish to see more features implemented. As for privacy mode one can check this link https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/37046076925209-Introduction-to-Reolink-Privacy-Mode/@Oskar I cannot find the power option for the battery doorbell. On which fw this feature is available pls?
@chopstix To the best of my knowledge time lapse photos are saved to the SD only. In case of NVR, a time lapse can be exported from a recorded video onto a USB attached to its USB port.In case of Home Hub Pro (HHP), you can enable the time lapse but it is saved on the SD. Once completed one can watch it using the appl. through the HHP.
@user_901386068689094_901386068689094 Once you ack the push notification there is no way to see it in the list. We are requesting Reolink to add event history. However, they have added this feature to the home hub and some NVRs. I don't use any of these devices.I think the time is 2 min after which it will take you to the playback.
@user_736098558853348_736098558853348 It's unusual. Some people don't insert correctly the c-type plug into the socket on the camera. One has to push a bit. If you encounter the same issue and while still under warranty then I suggest you to email support on support @ reolink.com.
@user_829609175638167_829609175638167 choose other network and add the 2.4G SSID. Maybe it is hidden.
@chopstix So far Reolink introduced file encryption on Home Hub, Home Hub Pro, Altas Pt and Altas PT Plus. Reolink stated that it will deploy this encryption to its products (maybe recent releases plus new ones).Unfortunately if WIFI is lost or the HHP is switched off and there are recordings on the cameras SD, the HHP will not synchronised the video clips. User has to delete camera and access it in standalone. There have been a lot of requests from customers to allow them to access the cameras directly and hope they are working on it. Personally this should have been available from the day the HHP has been released.
@cvance10_529511550173407 So when you are at home and your smartphone is connected to the same WIFI then you are able to view the cameras. And I assume the same if you are outside and using another WIFI network. This means that the client is fine. So the issue is when you use the mobile packet data. Ensure your smartphone is connected to 4G or 5G. 3G has not adequate bandwidth. Does the mobile operator enforce some restrictions? Can you use another SIM?Can you enable hotspot on smartphone and connect PC to this hotspot? Then start the client on PC and check whether you are able to view cams.
@chopstix Fully in agreement. And on the HUB they should allow the deletion of clips using the admin account. There is a lot of features which can be added some of which may not require changes at the camera side.
@reolink-oskar Can you tell us on which fw the quick replies mentioned above have been implemented?
@dotslash_888755199733903 Indeed the speaker and the USB port should have been under the camera. I have mine fully exposed and it did rain for days without impacting the functionalities of the device. It is classified as IP 66. While an IP66-rated camera is designed to be highly resistant to water, it is not designed to be submerged in water or to be continuously exposed to heavy rain or water jet. I do concur with you that the vertical FOV is rather low. And it is not only this cam but all the newly released cameras have lower vertical FOV. We have complained about this and asked Reolink to make it bigger as we used to have them in the past.As for the anti-theft (or camera left off-line) we have asked for a HB mechanism. In the event that this is missed for say 5 times an alert is sent to the customer in the form of email/push notification. The HB mechanism can be implemented between cam and P2P AWS servers, between camera and NVR or between camera and Home Hub. Maybe they can add a GPS and we get the location too just in case it is stolen. Why not. And if this is difficult for them to do then they can add a feature on the camera with adjustable time interval to send an email/push notification say every 12 hours.
@user_766423686758602_766423686758602 Can you connect to your network over VPN? You need to be on the local network and use webui, assuming you have either http or https enabled. Maybe you have someone who can connect his PC to your home network, do a remote login on his pc and then install the Reolink client or use webui,
@reocam_448003255267488 Yes you can. Check out this link https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/900000537406-How-to-Connect-PoE-Switch-Router-and-Reolink-NVRs/
@ddelrosso_61389620748490 I have the WIFI DUO 2 and this is set to event recording. The maximum recorded video per event is 5 min on the SD. If the object is still within the FOV, another file is opened.I only use sd, ftp and HA. Do you set the video file length on NVR?https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/900000640023-What-is-the-Record-Length-on-Reolink-Client/#:~:text=on%20Reolink%20Client-,The%20Record%20Length%20on%20Reolink%20Client,set%20to%205~60%20minutes.&text=Go%20to%20Client%20Setting%20%3E%20Local,change%20the%20Video%20File%20Duration.
@chopstix From the specs provided by the supplier, it is clear that it can be used as AP as illustrated below. Issue could be from repeater to router. So in this setup it is excluded.
@mzumwalt1_471118459977909 The simplest method is to replace the SSID and password on the router side with the previous ones. If, however, the cameras are within reach then change the SSID and password of the hotspot on your smartphone to correspond to the old ones. Then move smartphone near camera and use the appl to access cam. Then connect cam to new WIFI SSID. If you forgot the password of the previous WIFI network then you need to reset cams.
