@user_901386068689094_901386068689094 Once you ack the push notification there is no way to see it in the list. We are requesting Reolink to add event history. However, they have added this feature to the home hub and some NVRs. I don't use any of these devices.
I think the time is 2 min after which it will take you to the playback. -

@cvance10_529511550173407 So when you are at home and your smartphone is connected to the same WIFI then you are able to view the cameras. And I assume the same if you are outside and using another WIFI network. This means that the client is fine. So the issue is when you use the mobile packet data. Ensure your smartphone is connected to 4G or 5G. 3G has not adequate bandwidth. Does the mobile operator enforce some restrictions? Can you use another SIM?
Can you enable hotspot on smartphone and connect PC to this hotspot? Then start the client on PC and check whether you are able to view cams. -

@user_766423686758602_766423686758602 Can you connect to your network over VPN? You need to be on the local network and use webui, assuming you have either http or https enabled.
Maybe you have someone who can connect his PC to your home network, do a remote login on his pc and then install the Reolink client or use webui, -

@ddelrosso_61389620748490 I have the WIFI DUO 2 and this is set to event recording. The maximum recorded video per event is 5 min on the SD. If the object is still within the FOV, another file is opened.
I only use sd, ftp and HA. Do you set the video file length on NVR?

RE: Password issue for existing camera after router change
@mzumwalt1_471118459977909 The simplest method is to replace the SSID and password on the router side with the previous ones.
If, however, the cameras are within reach then change the SSID and password of the hotspot on your smartphone to correspond to the old ones. Then move smartphone near camera and use the appl to access cam. Then connect cam to new WIFI SSID.
If you forgot the password of the previous WIFI network then you need to reset cams. -

@chopstix Thanks. Exactly this is not the immersive view but rather the dual view or separated view. When the icon shows one dark box then you shall see both the widescreen and the telephoto views on the same screen. Conversely, when the the icon shows two boxes then the widescreen and the telephoto views are on different screens. Just wipe back and forth to get the two views.

Note that when I see them separately, it is the same as the RLC-811WA, E1 OD Pro, Argus 3 Ultra, etc. -
RE: Connect doorbell to NVR
@rol_640066282610764 The only way to add a camera to a Reolink NVR is at the NVR console. You need to connect a monitor and a mouse to the NVR and add it there. You can't add cameras in the app or web UI.
And make sure you have the recent fw on both the NVR and doorbell. Go to Reollnk Download Center and check them out. -

@jeankok_709237676638430 Correct. You cannot access any settings when connected to a TV through HDMI. Only layouts. You need to use the client to change any setting. I already have submitted a complain to Reolink. Can you do it too? The more requests they have the more we see it implemented.

@marius_ss_846431955587247 First of all I am not an employee of Reolink but rather a customer like you. I use a timeslot of my free time to provide support to members wherever possible. My support is based on my technical knowledge and usage of the some cameras.
- Overwrite under record: This feature automatically deletes the oldest video recordings when the storage medium (SD or HDD) reaches capacity. This ensures continuous recording by freeing space for the new footage, thereby maintaining a seamless loop of recent video data without manual intervention. Note that this is not applicable to FTP.
- If you are technical I suggest you to capture a Wireshark trace and check what is wrong. FTP is the easiest protocol. You may also install Cerberus or Filezilla ftp server and check if this issue crops up. You may also check the log on the ftp server. The OS is based on embedded Linux BusyBox and they have not added the SSH (an so no SFTP) feature. Delete is not allowed. However, we have requested the deletion feature since the launch of their first camera. But this was never provided. You may email them and ask them too.
- I ftp all the files to a Cerberus ftp server and never had any issue.

@kimchigun I have been telling them for ages now. Their software is really behind their competitors. Both in features and robustness. Even the support needs improvement.
It is not about quantity but quality. Better having fewer models with super enriched features and being rock stable. -
