@user_gil_603497361449078 Considering that Reolink camera is forwarding the recorded videos to the cloud and you are receiving push notifications each time triggered together with the fact that you are able to log and watch live views from the other camera then I suspect that the P2P server is returning the old public IP/Port assigned to your camera. Do you have some relatives who can go to your house and switch off and on the camera? Normally the cameras at regular intervals communicates with the P2P servers and if the P2P server receives a different public IP/Port from what is in the profile associated with your UID, then it shall update it. If you have nobody to attend the house then I suggest you to contact Reolink support. Note that I have an RLC511WA which has a similar problem and after forwarding traces support confirmed that there is an issue and will correct it in the next firmware release.
@jedi2020_32727772450952 And even E1 OD and RLC511WA. But this is only available on the Windows Client. The Android client hasn't yet been updated. Note that on DUO 2 WIFI battery operated this is not available. Maybe they will not introduce it on battery operated cameras......
@user_614688609960018_614688609960018 Can you capture a tcpdump at the server side to see what error is being thrown to the client? Can you add sslv2 and v3 and tlsv1 together with force local data and local login? Maybe it is a cipher algorithm or the key is less than 1024. Check it on wireshark. Implicit is rarely used...most common is the explicit.
@user_615408209375314_615408209375314 When you activate FTP you should have image resolution, transmit interval and overwrite filename.
@deirdre_509993927315611 Did you try at gumtreedotcom? They have it. Replace dot by . as it is restricted to include a link.
Video analytics process video in real-time and transform it into intelligent data. They automatically generate descriptions of what is happening in the video and are used to detect and track objects which also could be categorized as persons, vehicles, pets and other objects in the video stream. Video analytics turn simple IP video into business intelligence. We can use the camera to identify a License Number Plate and the car model and used it to open a gate (normally done through RFID). Other examples are shelf occupancy sending an alarm when the number items is below a threshold, parking lot monitoring citing the empty spaces available, face and gender recognition, crowd detection, congestion detection and many myriad of other analytics. Video analytics requires volume of data to be very accurate together with powerful processing power. Some camera suppliers are building their AI technology on cloud platforms thinking ahead of the future requirements. Is Reolink thinking about this business intelligence?
@reolink-fiona even links to the docs shall be more than adequate. But at least there is somewhere members can search for.
@deirdre_509993927315611 Do a search and you will find it. Gumtree, aliexpress, etc. You may opt for an external LTE antenna.
@kristof uh...they always use different words. Audio..they should write Siren. Thanks for your correction. I never opted to switch off siren through the scene mode. Apologise. I will inform support.
@alvaro2 Do you use autotracking on E1 OD?
@user_gil_603497361449078 If you have left the status LED enabled, you can ask your neighbour to go in front of the camera and see if this turns blue when he crosses the camera field. If it won't lit then there is no power. If it turns on, then try to reboot the router if you can access it remotely. You can also check the infrared LEDs during the night (assuming they are enabled and external light is mimimal)
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Disabling siren only is not available in scene mode. You have to disable recording which is not what is required.
@robert-leyzerovich_519547077562499 Good point. They can add it under the scene mode as they did for push notification, recording, etc. Another option would be Geofencing but this is still being evaluated by Reolink.
@user_614704170418207_614704170418207 You pay more because there is more functionalities and the build is better. RLC-523WA has better field of view (both pan and tilt), better zooming (better lens), better build with higher IP rating (IP66 vs IP64), better infrared night vision, better pan/tilt speed, have patrol (not available on E1 OD), better autotracking ( E1 OD has an issue on guard point deviation), better fps (esp at night) and thence clearer videos, etc. That's why the higher price.
@resen-berri_509347230924980 Can I ask you a question please? Why do you want to get rid of Arlo doorbell? And what are you expecting from Reolink. We just want to hear feedback and in what areas Reolink can improve.
@big_ted And with IFTTT it would be great too as one can do further actions. Haven't seen any feedback on WIFI version.
@nad-wolfgang_581208661188791 I already raised this with Reolink and had no feedback.
@user_613208343740453_613208343740453 Which camera you own? Normally this is inherent to user and is embedded in design. For instance Argus 3 Pro records low res in H.264 and high res in H.265 format.
Fiona, please add another category named 'Documentation' where members can download documents you have shared within the community. It's a suggestion.
@reolink-fiona Automation just started with the introduction of the floodlight. I need to see more advanced automation as per my first input. Can you confirm or otherwise whether one has to have a Reolink account to manage the floodlight when Duo 2 camera detects a person and instructs the floodlight to switch on and sounds the siren? I presume you have an IFTTT platform handling this.
