@user_622187375816740_622187375816740 Unfortunately battery/solar operated cameras don't provide 24x7 recording and don't support the RTSP streaming protocol. Thence you cannot provide live streaming to you tube. You need to opt for another Reolink camera supporting the RTSP protocol. I do not think this cam supports ftp (as most battery operated cam). Not included in specs.

If each member has the Reolink client then there is a limit of 12 concurrent users (2 high res and 10 low res).

@jakubdavid00_377934341955826 Send an email to support quoting your hardware version and ask for the latest firmware. They will answer you within 2 days. Note that upgrade from the camera is not activated. You need to manually download the firmware and update it either through Windows/MAC client or through the NVR. And on some battery operated cams they have to push you the firmware. Btw which model do you have?

Get the NVR firmware too and email Reolink support to check whether they have newer firmware. I have no access to such info. My philosophy is to keep sw updated to the most recent stable version.

8. Distinct sound at application level depending on source (cam)
9. More AI detections like any Pet, Package, smoke, sound, etc
10. More IoT devices (Smoke detectors, PIR detectors, Sound detectors, water leakage detectors, temperature and humid detectors etc)
11. More complex IFTTT...... if (face==matched or License plate == ABC) then switch off camera 2 and release relay to open gate
12. More security on cameras and applications (logging source IPs, Audit log logging all activities done by a user, encrypting mp4 files on SD, sending an email once a user logs on to camera, Windows/MAC client to be password protected at start up, etc)
13. More efficient and robust communication protocols between cameras and applications (esp wake up method on battery operated cams, playback improvement)
14. More robust applications and firmware
15. More flexible timers (pre and post recording, files retention, guard and patrol timers, etc)

@kevin_603403140067368 That should be an IoT device monitoring temperature, humidity and smoke and using the IFTTT ...........if smoke is detected initiate an emergency call and inform a group of people, start recording and sound siren, etc. What can be monitored and what action to execute are infinite.

@david-bott_212109427744926 I have already raised these requests to both the support and to the forum. Indeed it is cumbersome to email support and ask if there is a firmware or application update. These can be easily implemented in particular the application. I did even request to have the old firmware just in case someone wants to go back one version.

@yoco007_164526624891019 Yes it does support time lapse. Can you try it out on Android client? And then repeat the procedure from Windows client and see if it re-occurs. Check that you have the newer firmware version v3.1.0.989_22051911_v1.0.0.30. Maybe there is a more updated one too........in which case I suggest you to email Reolink support by quoting your HW.

@home_198034626125963 For the time being I would rather concentrate on cameras rather than widening on IoT. There are still a lot of features to add to Reolink cameras.
