@user_767315643302074_767315643302074 The detection is based on PIR which has a range of around 10m (when set to max sensitivity). In your case the object is out of the detection IR pattern of the PIR and subsequently the camera will not continue to record. But if you stay within the detected range then it should continue to record.
@user_788975327735961_788975327735961 Which Ads? I am running both Windows and Android clients and never saw any ad. Which version are you running?
@pjsmit_155286146154639 I am still away. Camera should be installed at 2.7m above ground to detect human correctly. So if this is not the case then you will definitely miss detections. And if the new fw didn't solve your issue then you need to keep pressing Reolink support for a solution.
@george-winston_462886334173375 Good to hear that. Enjoy. Hopefully Reolink will release the new fw of the doorbell which shall allow calling when visitor button is pressed.
@user_661794270740568_661794270740568 So this appears on both Android and Windows clients. If so then try to reset camera?
@user_784282903113934_784282903113934 There is no restrictions on password characters as stated in https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/900000585986-What-is-the-Requirements-of-the-Protection-Password-for-Reolink-Client/#:~:text=Applies%20to%3A%20All%20Reolink%20cameras,no%20restrictions%20on%20special%20characters.Basically the WPA2 is the security protocol and the encryption methods are TKIP and AES, each of which uses a shared key.
@george-winston_462886334173375 You need to upgrade tge fw of the NVR. Check this link https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/16279637037081-Which-NVRs-Support-Reolink-Video-Doorbell-PoE-WiFi/

@pjsmit_155286146154639 I just received the RLC811WA and will conduct respective tests when I shall be back home. In order to see if there are any newer firmware I suggest you to email support on support @ reolink . Com (delete spaces as site doesn't allow me to add url or emails). Note that once you changed the zoom the non detection zone area is impacted. You need to revert back to the zoom position where you have created. In order to avoid numerous false alerts it is recommended to turn off any motion detection and base your detection on AI. Moreover you have the alarm delay for each object type. You can increase the one for person to 1 or 2 seconds. I have an RLC511WA at the main entrance and had to increase the alarm delay to avoid false alarms for human detection. Thereafter I rarely had any false detection on the RLC511WA.
@nzx Submit your request to support @ reolink . com (delete spaces)
@krs03_329168595349694 On all Reolink battery operated cameras, detection is based on PIR.
@tlharper_788212242550983 Yes, customers have managed to install up to 14G as illustrated at https://www.reddit.com/r/reolinkcam/comments/wr556l/rln8410_nvr_working_with_14tb_hdd/

@mlodge87_607028518432873 I am using the Android client and the windows client and have no issue to connect through WIFI to DUO 2, RLC-811WA, RLC-511WA, Argus 3 Ultra, Argus 3 Pro, Argus 2, TrackMix, E1 OD, E1 Zoom and doorbell. The connection is immediate for the DC powered cams and for the battery I just click once. However, I have never use the IoS client and cannot say anything, I suggest you to contact support on support @ reolink . com (delete spaces).
@user_787136870518912_787136870518912 Kindly email Reolink Support on support @ reolink . Com (delete spaces)
@user_786433971007667_786433971007667 You need to check the 4G coverage. If it is draining the battery then you may have trigger on any motion. Try to disable it and allow AI objects.
@babita_624624196386829 on YouTube you can find lots of videos on Lumus.Ftp is not available on Reolink battery operated cameras.
@alvaro2 Good. Main issue with E1 OD is the deviation of the guard position. But the occurrence has been reduced compared with the first generation E1 OD. Mostly due to change in tracking method.
@2ways2brich_785288900964491 You need to ensure that WIFI is strong at the cameras locations. Try to use 2.4G and check if you have any channel congestion. You may check this by installing WiFi analyser from playstore. And Reolink NVR is meant to manage Reolink cameras.
