@user_781705133682896_781705133682896 First try to disable the hardware acceleration first from the client main menu. See if this makes any difference.Which graphic card(s) is installed on your PC?
@reolinkshayla Wonderful. When shall we get the doorbell firmware update pls?
@user_dbouchard_623756488863828 Hereunder find my suggestions.
@polarian_462426988400812 You need to have a POE splitter as THIS from Amazon.

@user_682791762784507_682791762784507 I suggest you to email Reolink support.
@thejebronie_622381821149282 Can you provide the sensitivity for motion detection and smart detection? Can you add a 1s or 2s delay under the alarm delay?
@herb_474969153552612 If all the cameras are being disconnected then it is either the network or the PC running the client. You can leave it DHCP so that BB router will assign the IPs to any attached device as otherwise you need to remove the assigned IPs from the DHCP range (if you shall be using static then disable DHCP on the BB router).How is the PC connected to the network? Try to connect your PC to the switch and install a ping monitor (you can find a lot on the Internet) and ping the cameras and the gateway of the BB router. Then check whether you lose any pings.
@nickburt218 Sorry was busy with a mobile operator implementing Volte. The 1-2 seconds lag is expected which is due to transmission and processing. The network is good and the switches are functioning at L2. I have one last request, namely, to disable the hardware acceleration first (from main menu of the client) on the HP and to connect the HP to the same switch as the DELL. Just for testing. At the same time I kindly ask you to open a ticket with Reolink support (support @ reolink . com - Remove spaces as the site won't allow us to add links).
@160334357029011 Correct. In Multi-view they have removed the clear mode. They just left Fluent or Balance. I have requested support to provide the clear screen but had no feedback.
@user_781125498593441_781125498593441 Unfortunately you need a SIM card in each camera. You could have opted for WIFI cameras and use a 4G router. Check if AT&T can provide you with a multi-sim.

@iallinoro_169065503625461 First try to disable the hardware acceleration first from the main menu. If it doesn't solve the issue then follow the solution in https://community.reolink.com/topic/4559/reolink-client-app-black-blank-screen-on-startup-fix-windows-11
@user_gocamera528 Once you know what are your requirements and then before you purchase any entity, check and re-check the specs. Don't buy because of what you have seen on a youtube video. Maybe you are not that technical but you can search the Internet or ask fora. I have no issue as I am quite technical :).
@user_781074242527474_781074242527474 Uh you want to start the client in full screen. Unfortunately this cannot be done by passing any parameters but I recall that a guy has used autoIT (freeware) to start the client and then click on the full screen icon. You can try it yourself. Follow this link https://www.reddit.com/r/reolinkcam/comments/10i06dh/start_reolink_windows_client_in_fullscreen/
@user_780488697958579_780488697958579 Ensure you get junction box with the appropriate IP rating. Then wrap the endpoints with amalgamated tape (this is used by Telco technicians to wrap underground joints of 1200 pairs) and forget it.
@ecarl42_587145442062992 I suggest you to email Reolink support. Perhaps they have a beta version which you can test out.
@nickburt218 If there is an issue on the camera side, then the lag time should show on both HP and Dell PCs. How is the Dell connected to the network? Do you have any switches and routers? Can you draw a sketch diagram of your setup? I also assume that the cat cables have been tested and connection between PCs and LAN is secured. In my opinion the issue is within the client.
@user_779346621022398_779346621022398 Good to know. I saw the IR was low but couldn't tell how you have installed the camera.
@user_gocamera528 UID is solely used if a user wants to access the camera/NVR from an external network. Apart from UID one can also use DDNS. The UID is forwarded to the P2P servers encrypted. This applies to the messages and media which adopt a different encryption. Such encryption methods are adopted by all security entities. And recall that when you use cellular mobile as the transport then the packets can also be sniffed (probing the GTP-U) and all mobile operators are connected to the Internet at the PGW. So even though your smartphone and the 4G camera are connected to the same mobile operator, the media passes through the Internet too (Relayed). And if you didn't receive the alert and didn't record then one has to delve further through the settings. I have a number of cameras (from Reolink and another Vendor) and I am fine with them. You have full freedom to chose what suits you.
